☀️ As the weather warms up, regular grooming will help your dog to regulate their temperature and prevent heatstroke.

This is even more important if they have long or thick hair.

Although dogs don't sweat through their skin like humans, a tangle free coat will be beneficial in hot weather. 🌦️

Due to her nervous nature we took things a little slower, giving regular breaks, use of our noise snood and freedom to move during grooming made it a more enjoyable experience.

Getting used to grooming…

When you bring your new puppy home make sure you take time to gradually train them to feel comfortable about being handled and brushed on different parts of their body. This helps to facilitate grooming and also helps to prepare dogs for physical examinations during vet consults.

Try to visit your groomer as soon as they're fully vaccinated so they learn that it's a fun place to visit.
