Gorgeous Maine c***s that I groom every couple of months ☺️
Absolutely gorgeous creatures and when trimming Bandits claws today, I didn't realise how HUGE his paws were before! Like dog sized paws!

Met Skyla today for the first time ☺️
She had a badly matted tummy/armpits, she wouldn't really let people touch it and would get a bit angsty if clippers went near it. So I was a look little anxious I wouldn't be able to help, but honestly she was SO good! She did have a couple of moments, which was understandable but she soon came down from them.
Once the matts were removed, I then gave Skyla an intro groom /brush out which is was really quite chill through ☺️
Look forward to hopefully see her again!

Here is Babs!
Babs has a regular 6 weekly groom and she is so much better off for it.
Her first appointment she had a few matts that needed to be removed and now with ongoing brush outs, she very rarely has Matt's ☺️
We've also found out today that, going forward, we will start with her back end whilst her tolerance levels is higher and then do belly and back afterwards as she HATES her back end being touched.
I feel like today was the most successful groom she has had tolerance wise ☺️

My first cat of 2025 (barring my own...) is Taylor!
A beautiful Maine c**ne that hasn't quite taken to grooming fully yet 😬🥹
This was her second intro groom and she may need a couple more before we go in for the full groom due to her tolerance levels.
It's trial and error to find what works best for the cat so next month on her next groom we will try a couple more ideas to see if she is a bit more tolerant.

She's such a gorgeous girl 😍

My diary is back open! So let's get your kitties booked in for their winter grooms!

If you give this post a share for any of the cat hoomans that are still unaware there is a cat groomer on their door step, so they can get their kitties booked in for a winter groom! 🖤🐈

‼️A reminder of why regular grooms are necessary for your cats;

- Helps their circulation and helps them regulate their temperature.

- removes their dead undercoat to prevent them from matting.

- as much as "cats groom themselves" they can't remove the dead undercoat needed to remove, and the kitty having a good de-shed will also prevent furballs and blockages for the cat, which can be uncomfortable for them, but also not nice to clean up for you!

- helps get them used to the process so it isn't as scary when it's a regular thing.

This is the handsome Gus. I met him for the first time officially yesterday for his hygiene trim and nails clipped. He wasn't a fan of either but we took it slow and his humans were great at comforting him!
I will be seeing him again in the new year for a little grooming session to hopefully get him used to having these little things done ☺️

This is the gorgeous Tiki after his 2nd groom! He is such a big kitty!
Again he had so much more patience this time round than the first time....probably due to having a few matts removed the first time, in order to try and prevent that happening again he gets a regular bi monthly groom.

Saw the beautiful Tilly again today.

Tilly is nearing her 20th birthday early next year so she is a little bit frail but her patience with me today was amazing! A massive improvement to the last time!
She struggles to do any grooming herself now, so is matting in a couple of places rather easily. She has a routine groom every month to try and prevent that and keep her as comfortable as possible.
As much as she is a tiny cat, you can see how much still came off her.

My first time visiting the Beautiful Maine c**n called Grim for her first hygiene trim!
Considering she was very anxious around me and a little skittish, she stood still for her hygiene trim! Such a good girl but no word of a lie, had the fluffiest back end I've seen on a cat, with the biggest pile of after fluff!
Look forward to seeing her again in about 6-8 weeks when it needs doing again ☺️🖤

Visit Persia for her regular groom, still a grumbly old lady but has calmed down a lot since the first time I saw her. Still absolutely hates me going near her back end so that's still a bit of a struggle, but with help comforting her from her human, we got everything done we needed to, plus a couple of little matts removed.

Today I met stormy! He had a Matt on his tail and was booked in for his first full groom. wasn't a fan of the clippers and it was hard to call him fully down after using the clippers but with a massive help of his humans and treats we managed to get through his groom! He is booked back in after new year along with his little brother, who I did a couple of little comb throughs today and he just laid there and accepted it!

Even if cats don't quite take to grooming straight away it is something that they can get used to the more they have it done, so it is recommended to get your cats groomed from a young age to get them used to the process ☺️☺️

This is Suki. I met Suki today for her first groom. She is getting on and has a health issue so struggles to groom herself.
She was a bit clumpy here and there, so a little shaving was done but most brushed/combed out. I will be going back as a split appointment due to her losing a little patience, just to finalise a few bits, but she did absolutely fabulous. A gorgeous temperament and very very patient with me!
Her human also did an amazing job of comforting her.
Look forward to seeing them again soon ☺️
