So today, I had the TINIEST kitten I ever did see.... A 10 week old ragdoll called Mr Pebbles who was bought a couple of days ago from a potential breeder.... came to them matted 😔 I have never seen such harsh matting on such a small kitten which unfortunately had to be shaved off.
This kitten had the most gorgeous temperament and with the help of his hooman we managed to get all the matting off.

Cat grooming isn't about glamour, it's about how the cat feels and health benefits. It breaks my heart that this little man had got to this stage so early in his life 😔 he has a wonderful human who wants to make sure that he doesn't have to go through that again ☺️

Here is the gorgeous Molly after her first intro groom. She has such an angelic face, but categorically isn't a fan of grooming, so will be looking at having another intro groom next time to see if she settles into it a bit more. Got a fair amount off her, so hopefully she will feel better for it and welcome me with open arms next time 🤣

The gorgeous Stormy had her first intro groom today after some matt removal.
Was a little bit of a flighty fidgety one, but had the sweetest temperament ☺️ with the help of her hooman we managed to remove all matts and give her a brush through to remove some undercoat and make sure there were no remaining matts. Look forward to seeing her again next month ☺️

Here is gorgeous Diesel! He had a handful of small matt's and we introduced him to a starter groom. He wasn't the biggest fan but his matts were removed and we gave him a brush out to try and remove some under coat to hopefully prevent him from getting additional matts. He was not impressed but he persevered, and overall did such a good job! Especially having some random new person in his comfort zone! Well done Diesel!

Here is Salom. He is around 12 years old had his second groom with me today and he is such a tolerant boy. An absolute pleasure to groom ☺️ as much as he would be considered short hair he has so much density to him and a lot of undercoat, we managed to groom another cat sized ball of fur out of him!
He is booked in for another groom in 6 weeks time to maintain his coat and nails ☺️
Look forward to seeing him again then ☺️

I travelled to the seaside town of Bridlington today to meet the gorgeous Ron for his first ever groom from me ☺️ he had some matting on his back end, tummy and sides, but nothing a lick e lick couldn't distract from! He did SO well, and pretty easy and quickly the matts were removed, and a brush out to remove the undercoat was done.
Well done Ron ☺️

Time for Dylan's regular groom again! Look at that happy face......🤣
Bit grumpier than last month but still so much more placid than he used to be....he's gone from getting impatient right away and 30 seconds intervals on the table to independently laying whilst i do most of his groom.
I will always be so proud of how far he's come ☺️ see you in 6-8 weeks 🥰

Met this gorgeous couple for the first time the other day.
Mabel and Monty 🥰
Both beautiful ragdolls, both had a couple of matts and both had the best temperament 😍
To say this wis their first time, they just took it in their stride and was as chill as can be!
I look forward to seeing them again soon ☺️

This is the lovely Lulu. She had quite a bit of tight matting on her armpits area, chest/tummy and a couple on her back....

This is the lovely Lulu.
She had quite a bit of tight matting on her armpits area, chest/tummy and a couple on her back. She had the best temperament but with how tight and tucked in her armpit ones where, she was very twitchy whilst trying to get them. A few treats breaks were needed but with the help of her amazing hooman holding and comforting her, we managed to remove them ☺️ she then had a brush out to try and remove as much of the dead fur as possible to try and reduce the chance of matting from happening again ☺️I will be seeing her again in 6-8 weeks time for another maintenance brush out to try and prevent her from getting matted to that point again ☺️

Here is the gorgeous Gizmo after his first intro groom! He also had a few pesky matts that needed removing, and despite needing a couple of breaks he did tremendously. His temperament was beautiful, though you could tell when we hit a sore spot as he would be a bit vocal, and a little angsty, but once we finished he just sat and chilled and started rolling around the rug so all was forgiven ☺️

Always a gorgeous boy but always hates it when I get to his back end! But he is 100% more tolerable now than he was at the beginning...it's just about getting the kittie used to a groom and to know that you're trying to do the best by them :)

Gorgeous Gus had his first intro groom and he is just so beautiful isn't he?
He is such a good boy although his patience does dwindle quite quickly at the moment we are looking to book him in every 6-8 weeks to get him used to it and keep on top of that undercoat ☺️
Despite his patience running thin quite quickly he still had an amazing temperament! Just got a little flighty 🤣 but here he is relaxing afterwards 😍

Here is the beautiful Tilly. Tilly is an old lady of almost 20 years old so requires a monthly maintenance groom just to help her along :) here she is licking the lick e lick off her face that she had to reward her for being such a good girl during her groom ☺️she always has so much fur come off her, despite being tiny, she packs a lot of undercoat!
