Margo was experiencing these symptoms so do keep an eye on your pups!

As we start to enjoy crunchy-leaved autumn walks, it's important to be aware of
Seasonal Canine Illness (SCI) - a rare condition that can affect dogs during the autumn months.

Symptoms usually appear 1-3 days after a woodland walk. These symptoms can have many causes, but it's worth knowing that SCI is one possibility, even though it's thankfully very rare.

Some areas are known to be associated with cases and we advise looking out for
signage and keeping an eye on local news. Don’t worry though - the vast majority of woodland walks are perfectly safe.

The exact cause is still unknown; awareness and early treatment is key.

If your dog shows any unusual symptoms after a woodland walk, contact your vet.

Just a heads up that I’m having to cancel all groooms for today and will be in touch to reschedule.

Margo was taken to the vets late last night and admitted and has just come home.

She’s still not well but is resting.

Thank you to everyone for being so supportive and I’ll get you all back in asap.

We’re off for a sleep 😴

Just to say I’m a little slow at getting back at the min as I have a pup who’s just not feeling her best and we’ve not had much sleep the last two nights!

Thank you to those of you who have changed dates so I could get her checked out.
