Using reward based training and short-phrase coaching principles so you don’t need to get bogged down in the detail and can focus on what you need to do to succeed, we will work with you to find solutions for the challenges you face with your pet that not only work for you, but for the pets in your life too. We know that sometimes animals, just like us, can struggle to learn because of other things going on in their lives, like not enough sleep. So don’t be surprised if we ask about more than just your current training challenge, we just want to ensure that both you and your pet are set up for success. We believe that training should be fun and help you in the real world, but in order to get the best success, we like to build skills. Our facilities mean that we can help you build the skills necessary to enable you to be set up for success in ever increasingly difficult environments. When it comes to training, we want you to leave Woof Wisdom with the skills to solve not only the problems you came to us with, but with a toolkit to help you in future. We offer private coaching, a variety of classes and can even train your dog for you if you're struggling to find the time. We also offer a New Pet package to help you settle your new pet into your home. Qualifications and accreditations include: Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, registered Animal Training Instructor (ATI) with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC), Institute of Modern Dog Trainers registered trainer, a Canine Detection Academy Accredited Scentwork Instructor and a Canine Hoopers UK Accredited Instructor. The Karen Pryor Academy is an internationally recognised, highly respected, training organisation. ABTC is widely considered to be akin to a UK regulator in this otherwise unregulated industry. Only those meeting their independently assessed knowledge and performance criteria are permitted to be registered with them. As a KPA CTP and an ATI, we are obliged to abide by both organisations’ codes of conduct, which we trust gives you reassurance that we have the knowledge and skills necessary to get you and your pet on track as quickly and smoothly as possible.
