I am a greyhound who loves food and walking with my humans. I'm very friendly and am happy for anyone to stop and pet me. I love roaching on the sofa.

I'm very clever and can hear when the stair gate hasn't been shut properly and sneak in and steal food.

Gambit spent a lovely day on Sunday at our rescue groups 25th Anniversary.

Greyhounds 4 U (based in Aldershot) are where our 4 hounds have come from.

Our first adoption was Nicky the Eggman (Nicky) who this page was started and named after, then came Jo Jo Breeze (JoJo), then Lavally Secret (Lily) who was such a foodie the page was renamed for her, and finally Gambit our loveable lurcher, mountain goat and escape artist!

He enjoyed meeting up with old friends and making new ones but was happy to flop out on the sofa once we got home.

We are sad to announce that Lily went over the Rainbow Bridge on Monday 12th August. She was almost 14 but this weekend she had really struggled with her breathing and hadn't wanted to go out for walks or move off the sofa for food. She is now reunited with Nicky and Jo Jo.

Gambit is still with us and we are doing our best to make sure that he doesn't miss her too much.
