Hello everybody,

thought I would take the time to introduce myself and my business properly. I am a 22-year-old self-employed equine science student currently studying at Hartpury University, about to complete my final year. I have two horses of my own, Si my retired advanced dressage horse who is still in lightwork and Fonzie who is my 3-year-old British Hanoverian who I have just backed over the summer. I have lots of experience working with a range of horses from foals to fit competition horses and treat every horse as I would with my own. I have worked independently on my own on yards as well as in a team of grooms.

I have set up Happy Days Equestrian to provide people with a reliable and trustworthy groom service that promotes a positive and happy working atmosphere on the yard. Working and being a part of the equine industry as many of you know can be very tough sometimes physically and mentally, therefore I think it is important to encourage one another in a friendly and helpful manner.

So, what can I help with? Services cater for day-to-day yard duties including mucking out, turning out, grooming, field maintenance and exercising of horses (both ridden and groundwork). I also provide clipping, holiday cover and competition groom services. Next year I am also going to be providing equine massage services. I am fully insured, DBS checked, British Grooms Association certified freelancer as well as holding other equine qualifications.
