🎄💚Christmas Fundraiser💚🎄

Despite me telling myself I was going to reduce the intake, we have helped over 100 kittens this year and it has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride.

Little Whiskers will continue to be a safe haven for countless vulnerable kittens, providing them with the care, love, and medical attention they desperately need. However, the challenges they’ve faced this year have been overwhelming.

Each tiny kitten that arrived brought with it a story of neglect and hardship. I have worked tirelessly around the clock nurse them back to health, often spending sleepless nights tending to their needs. Unfortunately, as the number of rescues increased, so did the medical bills. Many of these kittens required urgent veterinary care and we are still trying to recover from the impact of this.

Despite these challenges, I will continue to pour my hearts into rescuing. I have had the honour of witnessing the joy of finding forever homes for many kittens and watching them thrive.

Sadly the rescue is now at a critical point. With mounting expenses and limited resources, I am reaching out to the community for support.

We are in desperate needs of veterinary funds and supplies to keep going.

We are asking you, this Christmas, to please give a little to help us into 2025 to ensure we can still help these kittens.

Funds raised will go directly toward medical care, and providing food and supplies for the kittens here. Every donation, no matter the size, can make a meaningful impact on the lives of these vulnerable kittens.

Pudding is no better this evening, she’s very quiet/withdrawn, very congested, not eating and we have also noticed she has a problem with her eyes - her pupils are different sizes (pic 3) and one is an abnormal shape (pic 1)
We need to do further testing, we have already spent £450+ on her. If anyone can kindly help us, we would be very grateful. Thank you to everyone that has already helped ♥️

Last night we took in an extremely sick kitten from the same breeder as Susie.

She is extremely unwell, currently at vets in an oxygen chamber and they are trying a nebuliser, she is severely congested and is struggling to swallow.

I think the odds are really stacked against her. We need to urgently raise £300 for today’s bill. If anyone can please help us help pudding we would be extremely grateful.

We’ve been pretty busy this last 24 hours having taken in 4 kittens.

The first two are beautiful grey tabbies, both female, around 3 weeks old and have come from a farm.

The next two are Persians, both female, one is 9 days old the other is 20 hours old.

I am so sorry to be so pushy, but we are in a DESPERATE AND URGENT position and we need to raise funds for Susie for x-rays and amputation of her left leg ASAP. She is in extreme pain and refuses to move, I have to hand feed her and place her in the litter tray. She is in the maximum amount of pain killers for her age and size now and it still doesn’t massively help. We really need help for her 💔💔

Susies fundraiser!

Susie has a deformed leg and her elbow joint is causing her excruciating pain. We have been to the vets for pain relief but she needs further imaging and it could possibly be a case of her needing an amputation…

Apologies for being absent, I haven’t been very well.

Our funds are running low again and we need these desperately in order to keep doing what we do. Particularly now we have a kitten in with a leg that will need veterinary attention. We also have to do an order of flea&wormer and special dietary foods which isn’t cheap.

Hi everyone, sorry I have been absent, I haven’t been very well at all. We still have the lovely Tealeaf with us and the 3 little ones whose mother was killed. They are all doing well but still need to gain weight.

We are running short on our royal Canin biscuits (we get through these VERY fast), if anyone would be kind enough to donate some to us, we would really really appreciate this - we can never have enough of it!

Mr Toast is looking for his forever home, as much as I really wanted him to stay with his sister, she has to stay here much longer due to her breathing issue and we don’t want to hold Toast back.

He MUST go with another young and playful cat, there will be no exceptions. He can live pretty much with children of all ages, he is very affectionate and loving.

No busy roads or railways, home checks & adoptions fees apply x

We have received a massive amount of applications for our tabbies, sadly as I said I cannot provide to everyone and they have now all found their forever homes. We will have more kittens available in coming weeks who we will not be taking applications for and instead contacting those that have already applied as there was a lovely bunch or you ♥️ thank you for your understanding x

Before I disappear off.. as you know it’s been a very very tough few weeks so I just want to post this here, we are desperate for help at this moment in time.. if anyone can spare even just a few pounds, we would be so grateful… we desperately need your help to continue what we are doing 😔💔

The majority of money we had raised has pretty much gone straight on the emergencies in the last people of weeks (Tealeaf, Yellow & 3 newbies in) we still need to now raise more money for Tealeaf after we decided X-rays won’t show much and it’s likely she will have to go for CT once she is a bit bigger.

This is a really hard time for us and we truly appreciate every penny we get. Thank you x
