Little night time adventure 🩶
📈 10km
📍 Devilla forrest
My lot out foraging for their breakfast this morning that I hid for them, getting that mental stimulation in from nose work is just as important as walks 🫶🏼
Invoices will be sent in the next 10 minutes, anyone needing anything extra this week please let me know asap before I finalise the diary later today.
Thanks, Morgan 😁
Ozzy - the only dog I have that LOVES getting his claws clipped 😂
💥 BELLA 💥
Today was Bella’s first training session after her initial assessment.
Bella has a habit of refusing to move when she feels worried or doesn’t want to walk past certain things. She literally planks herself, she has discovered this behaviour works for her so it has become a real issue on every walk becoming more frequent. Not only is this frustrating for Bella’s owner who just wants to enjoy walks with her, it’s also dangerous as this can happen anywhere such as crossing a road etc.
Today I introduced Bella and her owner to some pressure/release training. We kept things nice and calm for Bella and encorporated marker words to highlight the correct behaviour. I will be working more with Bella and her owner going forward but for now, getting her walking and more focussed on her owner.
Bella and her owner even managed a walk with no planking before I left!
Saturday night strolls
10km for me ✅
Dog off leash 16km ✅
This is why off leash walks are far more beneficial for your dogs.
- cover more distance
- better mental stimulation from exploring and sniffing
- improved cardiovascular health
To name only a few!
My lot are ecollar trained due to being highly prey driven, so no matter your dog breed, train for your dogs needs not your own. ❣️

13k run and full belly’s for my big guys..
= SLEEP! 🙌🏼😍
Harley GSD
I went to see Harley and her owner Chloe today as they have been struggling with Harley’s behaviours.
Upon assessment it was clear that Harley is pretty much reactive to everything she comes across making her a nightmare to walk/control, to the point it’s actually dangerous when she’s lunging at cars etc, it only takes a slip from the owner and the outcome is horrific.
I started working with Harley straight after her assessment, I laid boundaries, I corrected and rewarded.. why? Because a dog has to know right from wrong.
CORRECTION is a hated word these days in the idealistic dog world but it is something that every single species on earth needs to survive. Without correction we wouldn’t know boundaries and without boundaries there can be negative or potentially dangerous outcomes.
The last 2 clips in the video are 5 minutes after I started working with Harley, the reaction to cars stopped, we had relaxed leash walking, we even managed to get Harley to respond to basic commands such as “sit.” Harley was no longer at level 100 and massively over stimulated, she was calmer and more focussed, why? Because I set the boundaries, I showed her right from wrong and she didn’t need to take on the world the only way she knew how too - in a seriously over stimulated state making wrong/potentially dangerous choices.
Harley’s life prior to this consisted of run free dog fields and the likes. Not anymore 😍
Also a massive well done to Chloe - Harley’s owner, her dedication to wanting to help her dog improve has been second to none and I can’t wait to see you both on this new journey together!
Keeping things fresh with Willow 🫡
Arlo the bully in for his training day, taking his recall work very seriously as you can see when he forgets his brakes 😂!
All messages will be replied to tonight and diary done for me returning to work Monday - can all clients send over what days they need me if it’s different to the usual.
*Messages will be replied too tonight after this bunch have been washed when we get back todays adventure 😂🙄
10k tonight with the dogs in the wind & rain ☔️🌪️🐶
Manic Mondays 🤩
Up and started at 9am, dogs all done for the day by 4:30pm, then went and rode the horse for a bit, now about to walk my own dogs, roll on 10pm till I get to sit down 😂!!
Some chews to keep them busy whilst I’m trying my best to take it easy 😖!
Mental stimulation isn’t always about walks, it can be acheived in many different ways..
- Sniffing
- Chewing
- Searching
- Licking mats
- Training
- Problem solving
- Flirt pole
- Stuffed food toys
Get creative and have fun with it!!
Your dog should be mentally stimulated in a number of different ways to keep them satisfied.
Sunday well spent with my lot on a snowy adventure 😍!
Will get the diary for next week done over the next couple hours & any messages replied too.
Thanks 😁
Not every day you catch a meteor on your dog walk 💁🏻♀️😂☄️
Late walks with my big guys, our favourite weather 🧊😍
If it’s not dogs it’s horses 💁🏻♀️😂
Best way to relax after work, with my own dogs 😍🫶🏼
Someone actually asked me today.. “do you ever interact with humans without a dog being there?”
Actually had to think about it, it’s certainly not very often anyway 😂!
