Well done to all Responsible Dog Owners in Scotland!!!

The proposed amendments by Green Party MSP Greer (who, like Maurice Golden has been lobbied by the Kennel Club) to sneak the use of E-collars, prong and chain collars into Scottish legislation under the Welfare of Dogs bill was today REJECTED!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼👏👏👏✊✊

Over 240 of you actively pushed back against the proposals and by showing your teeth, you succeeded!!

Again, thank you for supporting and trusting ARDO to help you to help protect our dogs as we deem necessary and appropriate!! 👏👏👏👏

This fight is BY NO MEANS OVER. There will be a LOT of work to come.
But we have shown over and over that working TOGETHER for the same goals gets the strongest results - regardless of differences.

Feedback from one of my clients who has recently decided to go down the ecollar training route for his two Utonagan dogs who have high prey drive to allow them more freedom.

Honey was next in for her consultation earlier this morning.

Honeys behaviour has seen a fairly drastic change over the last few months, so in order to rule out any pain etc that could potentially be causing a behavioural change, she’s in for a vet check asap before I start working with her. 🐾

AMBER WEATHER WARNING FRIDAY

Windy says I'll take that . . . The image on the LEFT was posted by me at 07:55 this morning. The Met Office have not long issued (11:15) an AMBER weather warning for Friday

Loss of power
Disruption to travel
Possible structural damage

And there's probably a few big trees that are just hanging on after storm Darragh that might get blown over, so keep an eye on they bad boys as well

I will be monitoring the weather forecast for Friday as it’s meant to be stormy - wind and rain, potentially snow. Dogs that are booked in for half day training may be rescheduled if I feel the weathers too bad.
