Good morning! ☀️ Over the past couple of months, I’ve been quietly keeping track of last minute cancellations and they’ve added up to over £500 of lost income. That’s a huge amount for a small business like mine. As I write this message, I’ve actually just had a cancellation for lunchtime today, only 3 hours away.
I know plans change, and I always aim to be as understanding and flexible as possible. But with such short notice, I’m rarely able to fill those spaces which means I’m left out of pocket.
So starting from today, I’ll be introducing a last minute cancellation policy to all services:
🐾 Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice - 50% of the booking is payable
🐾 Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice- 100% of the booking is payable
🏡 House sits — Cancellations made with less than 2 weeks notice will still incur the full fee
I really appreciate everyone’s support and understanding as I make this change. It’s not about being difficult it’s purely about keeping my little business sustainable so I can continue looking after your lovely pets 😊
