Binky & Barney🐈

Before I went away on holiday, I had the pleasure of visiting these two sweet boys for some pop-ins whilst their owner was away.

I often get asked whether I work with cats as well as dogs and the answer is.. yes most certainly! I’m a massive cat lover with one of my own, and our pop-ins are more than suitable for them too.

What does a cat pop-in look like?

• Feeding and providing fresh water.
• Clearing up any mishaps.
• Changing litter.
• Playtime.
• And of course lots of fuss!

Our Summer Plan🌞

With hotter weather on its way to us next week, it’s important a plan is in place to ensure the safety and happiness of all our dogs. Dogs are affected by heat in different ways which may depend on their breed, size, age and overall health. Therefore, dogs will be individually assessed while out walking and walks will be tailored to suit the needs of each.

During all walks:

🌳Walks will take place in shaded areas, where possible.
💧There will be constant access to fresh water.
⏱️There will be regular breaks in the shade and we may not walk as far. Walks may be reduced in length but time will be made up at home.
🌅Walks may be moved to earlier in the day, in order to avoid peak temperatures. Likely to be between 8am-11am.
🏡No walks will take place in temperatures that exceed 23°C. In this instance, walks will be replaced by pop-ins.

You will be notified of any upcoming changes to your dog’s walks in advance or on the day of the scheduled walk. Walks may have to be shortened in order to fit everyone into those morning hours of 8am-11am.

Meet Bonnie.. our newest member🐾

Bonnie is the sweetest 2 year old Lab and she’ll be joining me for hour pop-ins and walks. On our first walk together she was more than brilliant, we practiced sitting at crossings and she has it absolutely nailed. She enjoyed a sniff and playing fetch, as well as a good fuss once we was home.

I got to see Waffle again today who is the sweetest little man, we had a 60 minute walk and he enjoyed many compliments from other walkers (no surprise there!).

What a week it’s been so far and after a slight setback today regarding my car, we’re back to normal tomorrow with walks and visits.
