This little tinker is in need of a home. We will be arranging for him to be flea and worm treated and neutered. He will also be microchipped. He's a little timid at the moment but he does love some fuss, getting used to people again. It looks like tye people who were looking out for him habe moved and people who moved into their house didn't want him hanging around. Only a young male cat.

Someone has kindly donated the heat pads. Thank you so much they'll be a great help.

Hi all. Had another influx of hoglets coming in thos last few days. We are in need of some kitten biscuits either sainsburys or tescos are perfect for all sized hedgehogs. We also in need of some more heat pads as the 3 icus are free and the heat pads I have. I have put a link below. If anyone is able to donate any of these items it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to all those who have made donations to our rescue.

Wanted to say a massive thank you for the donation from Tony at EHP 2015 Ltd of the 4 frame electric honey extractor which we got at a discount through https://monstershop.co.uk/

This has made extracting the honey so much easier than the manual one. So next spring our bees will be ready to provide a great harvest and we will be selling the honey to raise funds for Hedgehugs.

The bees didn't get the message that they are supposed to be slowing down ready for winter. Nope they are still laying wall to wall brood on the frames and have a whole brood box of honey in the second brood box. Queen is fighting the workers for space to lay. Will have to do a honey harvest a bit later than expected but a nice surprise. The clover has also started to bloom again as well as the cyanosis so may be we will get a bit of an Indian summer this autumn. Plus that picture taken at 11am when all the flying bees are out collecting pollen and nectar so how they all fit in I really don't know.

Two little ones admitted. One has a bad case if ringworm and the other little one is skin is solid due to both ringworm and mange. Poor little one can't really curl up and has sores. The older one is so malnourished and wobbly and due to the ring worm lost his fur and lots of spines. So lots of tlc antibiotics special treatments for these two and fingers crossed they will be feeling better in the next few days. Will be a good few weeks before they will finish treatment though.

Tough day at the rescue., lost one adult very poorly hoggie and lost one of the hoglets which seemed to be doing so well. Unfortunately they can be fine one min as the next go down hill and no matter what you try they still pass over the rainbow bridge. Please keep positive thoughts for one of the little hoglets which is struggling this evening, will be nursing every few hours with sub cut fluids etc to try and turn it around. No matter how many we manage to save the ones we don't hit us hard.

Photo of queenie one of our resident disabled hoggies this evening coming out to greet me and for a scratch.
