Attention to all ❗️❗️❗️❗️please can I make everyone aware that over this next week we will be experiencing some beautiful weather, but please remember that our furry friends really struggle with this heat . Avoid walking your dogs in mid day heat or when the sun is still at its peak. If the weather is too warm for us imagine how they are feeling, also do the 5second rule , if it’s too hot 🥵 to stand outside bare foot 🦶 it’s definitely too hot to be walking your dogs in the sun shine , we don’t want them getting burnt paws 🐾.
Regarding your dogs appointments this week, the salon will still remain open, as we do have air-conditioning ,but please avoid walking your dogs to the salon, in the hot sun , if you can please drive.

Please can I remind everyone to be careful with walking there dogs in this heat, it is lovely weather we are having but not so good for walking our dogs 🐕. Please avoid walking your dogs in mid day heat and ALWAYS check the pavement with the palm of your hand, if it burns your hand , it will certainly burn 🔥 your dogs paws 🐾. Also be careful of grass seeds , commonly found in paws and also armpits of dogs 🐩.

All REMEMBER to be careful about when walking with your dogs, 🐕 now the weather has started to become more colder & darker outside , we are all starting to use de-icer on our cars , salt /grit is starting be on the roads and ground . If you are doing pavement walking be sure to clean your dogs paws 🐾 in lukewarm water after due to possible grit or walking through frozen 🥶 or wet de-ice sprays from cars 🚗, please can I remind you these are highly poisonous ☠️ if are dogs lick there paws also the grit can make our furr babies paws extremely sore . Also not forgetting dogs do feel the cold also as much as us , just because they have fur, doesn’t mean they don’t become cold. Can I strongly recommend purchasing your dog a coat if you haven’t already also I do recommend your dog wearing there coat to the salon as after being bathed and being dried going outside to the cold, they can easily catch a chill. Night collars are also a must especially when you are walking in the dark making yourself and your dog known to strangers. I care about you all, please stay safe this winter ❄️. 🎄🐾🎄🐾🎄🐾🎄🐾🎄🐾🎄🐾🎄🐾🎄🐾

Our Story

Curly Tails was established in 2011 by dog groomer & training specialist Laura Camino. The business offers a broad range of treatment and training services for all types of dogs and other small animals, regardless of breed, size, or age.

Our main priority is your pet’s welfare and happiness. That is why we rely on their trust rather than restraints or tie–ups when it comes to grooming. We are aware that many pets have had a negative experience of grooming and training. However, we believe this should be a pleasurable experience for your pet. That is why rest, cuddles, and toilet breaks are always part of the grooming experience.

When dog training, we believe that a happy dog is a trained dog. Everyone would like a well-behaved and socially acceptable dog. Our role at Curly Tails is to help you achieve results by promoting responsible dog ownership using fun reward-based training methods.
