Frankie the Dachshund visits us to manage his intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) conservatively 🤎The treadmill is a great way to stimulate peripheral nerves and improve proprioception. Frankie’s condition is mild so it’s managed with physical therapy alongside conventional analgesia 🐾 What a cutie he is 🥰

Frank the Romanian Rescue dog has started hydrotherapy with us to build his stamina, improve muscle mass and hindlimb range of motion. How could you resist that face 🥰

We’ve had a spruce up outside of the clinic! A big thank you to my Dad and Uncle Dave for our new ramp 🥰 The ground has also been levelled. This will make it easier for dogs to access the clinic especially our golden oldies and post-op patients 🐾

Jazz the Border Collie has started hydrotherapy with us to manager her osteoarthritis 🩵 Jazz was completely non weight bearing on her right forelimb, but after a few sessions and some new pain relief from her vet she’s started to use her leg as normal. We hope to stimulate muscle strengthening to reverse the atrophy to her shoulder and allow her to enjoy her walks again 🐾

Another new patient 🐾 Tyler the Boxer has started hydrotherapy following an acute episode causing a hindlimb proprioceptive deficit. We hope to use hydrotherapy to stimulate his peripheral nerves, encourage muscle strengthening and gait re-education. Tyler has already started physiotherapy treatment with the wonderful 😊 We can’t wait to see his progress over the coming months
