On behalf of Warwickshire BHS, I am helping to organise an outrageously exciting Easter Social Quiz night Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex on Friday 7th April (Good Friday) 7pm. Teams are a max of 10 and only £15 per table. The bar will be open, the questions will be fun & diverse ... plus there will be chocolate! Open to members and non-members. Any money raised will go towards the British Horse Society. Why not get a group together from your yard, riding club, pony club or just a bunch of friends. There will be a special prize for the highest places U18 table too!

Do you know how to spot the signs of concussion? 🧠

Concussion can present in a variety of ways and will differ from person to person. Signs and symptoms can be physical, cognitive or behavioural, and it's important to remember that they can take hours or sometimes days to appear. If you suspect someone has concussion, they must immediately stop riding or any horse-related activities.

Earlier today, we launched our new concussion guidance for the equestrian industry. Aimed at participants at all levels – including riders, vaulters and drivers, parents, coaches, officials, grooms, medical personnel and event organisers – it includes information on how to recognise concussion and what actions to take, both in the immediate aftermath and during recovery.

I have updated my coaching group with my availability over the coming few weeks. Including a March XC clinic at Aylesford. If you would like to join the FB info group please message me. Its not a secret group, its just easier to manage than a page, lets me stay in touch with my regular clients and offers out coaching dates a little easier!

Still a few spaces left at Marslands on Tuesday... Fantastic indoor arena. The focus will be on gymnastic jumping, nothing too big, just enough to challenge horse and rider without losing confidence.
