🔥NOUMA D'AUZAY🔥
Is a stallion with some of the worlds finest breeding lines and a very fine character. He revealed himself on the showjumping circuit in 2009 with top international show jumper Franke Sloothaak and won at 1.50m classes at Geesteren CSI4* GCT & Sandillon CSI*3. He had an illustrious jumping career finally retiring to stud in 2016.
He has all the qualities you'd look for in a high level performer. His pedigree is full of champions and equally his offspring have won many accolades. He is suitable for both show jumping & eventing.
His offspring are very well put together with many points of strength. Endowed with a good canter, they always move in balance. His offspring shine in show jumping such as: Vallauris (Winner Grand Prix CSI1* 1m50, ISO 155), Tino de Grée (Winner in CSI2*, ISO 152), Brienne (ELITE at 6 years old, ISO 151), Vimae d 'Auzay (CSI 1.45m, ISO 151), Viahipi d'Auzay (CSI 1.40m, ISO 140), Uloa d'Auzay (CSI3*, ISO 138) and Umak d'Auzay (CSI1*, ISO 134).
It is in Eventing that his production explodes with the victory during the 2022 World Championship at Pratoni del Vivaro with Banzaï du Loir (ICC 163) but also the victory of César de Commarin LA (ICC154) during the European Junior Championship. Some of his other offspring are internationally renowned, such as: Tzinga d'Auzay (6th in the Mondial Lion d'Angers, 5th in the CICO3* in Le Pin and 9th in the CCI5* in Pau, ICC 152), Voila d'Auzay ( CCI4* and winner of the CCIO4* Nations Cup at Le Pin au Haras in 2019, ICC 151) and Vroum d'Auzay (Mondial du Lion des 7 ans, ICC 140).
Nouma's sire Carthago is the son of Capitol I, out of a mare by Calando I, who stood at several breeding stations in Holstein before pursuing a performance that culminated in a German Championship with Karsten Huck. At his performance test, Carthago earned a 9.5 for free jumping and a 10 for jumping talent. As Carthago Z (he acquired the ‘Z’ being leased to Zangersheide) he finished in 11th place at the Atlanta Games with Jos Lansink and the pair were members of the Dutch team at the Sydney Games.
Nouma's dam Hadvia D'auzay has some of the best Selle Francais jumping blood and is by the prolific jumping stallion Quidam de Revel who finished 4th Individually at the Barcelona Olympics. Quidam topped the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) sire rankings for showjumpers in 2003 and 2004. His superiority as a sire was confirmed at the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez where 10 of his progeny were jumping. On the Dam's side Hadvia's dam Via, who show jumped at 1.60m, was by french breeding royality - Le Tot de Semilly.
The exceptional quality of his maternal lineage makes him one of the best from the Selle Francais Stud book. Very easy to cross, he will bring blood 49.61%, good looks and excellent conformation.
