Another week done and dusted and another week closer to… CHRISTMAS🎉🎅🏼🐶🤪

We’ve had Sam on her first shadowing day this week and she did brilliantly!! I think it’s fair to say she’s already fallen in love with all the dogs and we can’t wait for her to start in January🤍

Rex had his first walk with us and absolutely smashed it! He settled in so quickly and has already made some new fur friends🐶

Olive made her return to the and it’s fair to say it’s like she’s never been away🥰She was so excited to see her walker and friends again and we’re so happy she’s come back to us!

Winter trails and wagging tails❄️🐶🤍

This week brought the first real touch of winter! The temperatures dropped, the mornings felt crisp, but our spirits certainly weren’t brought down! We wrapped up, adjusted our routes, and made sure every walk stayed safe and enjoyable despite some difficult weather days☔️🌨️

As the weather cools down, remember:
🐕‍🦺 Shorter walks may be better for sensitive pups.
🧥 A warm coat can make a big difference, especially for smaller or short-haired dogs.
🌬️ Check paws for ice, salt, and snow buildup.
💧 Hydration still matters—even in cold weather!
💛 And of course, extra snuggles are encouraged when you get home.

This week we also welcomed Rex to the and we can’t wait to see him have fun and make lots of new friends🥰

Cold Temps ahoy ❄️☃️🥶

Our Beverley team doesn’t seem to have as much snow today as our Market Weighton, Pocklington & HOSM teams, however it’s still important as temps lower to make sure we keep our doggys safe and happy 👇

Those vulnerable to colder weather:
🐾Whippets
🐾Dachshunds
🐾Pugs
🐾Chihuahua’s
🐾Greyhounds
🐾Smaller breeds in general🙏
🐾 Senior dogs
🐾Lower body fat breeds

Avoid allowing paddling/water play for these doggos (even if they want to😂)🛑

The snow can be quite disorientating to our off lead friends- scents can be buried so any wanderers can easily loose their way…we may make the decision to pop doggos back on lead to keep them safe 🩷😇
