Well it’s set up day at the show ready for gates open at 10am. It takes over 50 volunteers to put the show on and we can’t express just how grateful we are for their support.

The weather is looking okay for tomorrow with maybe just a light shower here and there for an hour.

With so much going on, including the dogs show and some great live acts plus free entry its going to be a show you won’t want to miss.

Well it's only 1 week to go now until our annual Family Fun Day & Dog Show takes place.

It all kicks off from 10am on Sunday 25th August 2024 at Far Forest Showground, Worcestershire DY14 9DA.

Only 1 week to go until our fun dog show, which forms part of the Far Forest Countryside Show 2024. (Postcode DY14 9DA)

Our volunteers will be running the fun dog show on Saturday 10th August & Sunday 11th August with registration from 11:00am and judging from 12:00pm.

Classes are £1.50 per dog per class with rosette & goodie bag for all 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

The show is open to all dogs and subject to suitable weather temperatures. (check our page for updates).

Remember, if it’s too hot for your hands or your bare feet, then it’s too hot for their paw pads! ⚠️

If you’re unsure whether it’s okay to let your pet go for a walk on pavements, a simple way to test the temperature is by holding your bare skin on the tarmac for five seconds ⏱️

If you find it painful, then your pet will find it painful to walk on!

To protect your pet, it’s best to avoid walks during the hottest part of the day, which is usually between 8am and 6pm. If you can't safely exercise your dog, missing a day won't hurt.

My old furiend Albie, lovely boy, loved to have a sleep while I was grooming him, clipped one side then flip him over to do the other.

The story so far.
My van had to go into my local garage 8th Jan due to a bad oil leak, located it coming from a gear on the cambelt, it was transported to the garage that reconditioned the engine 8 years ago to sort as the part from the dealership wouldn’t fit, it’s taking longer than expected.
Looks like a bit more time off work and cancelling dogs.
As soon as I get it back I’ll sort out new appointments for those I have had to cancel

Just getting back into it after time off for radiotherapy etc, playing catchup but not overdoing it, thank you to my customers who have been very patient and understanding, I’m shuffling dogs as I go and hopefully get through my waiting list soon, I’m still not taking new dogs on for the rest of this year yet so as to deal with ones I’ve had to cancel & move.

On a sad note pictured is Biba one of my favourites, who passed over the bridge last week 💔🌈 go chase those rainbows 🌈
