URGENT Foster Home Needed 💖

We are currently in need of a foster home for Bambi. ❤️

She joined the OAS family last week after her family was moving home. She's only 10 months old and you've guessed it she’s pregnant!! She's only a kitten herself and the whole situation is heartbreaking. 💔

Fostering is so rewarding but at the same time, it can be emotionally difficult, especially when they are ready to fly the nest. 😍

Duties will include:
🐈 Being there to support her through labour
🐈 Following a socialisation plan
🐈 Litter training
🐈 Weaning the kittens
🐈 Giving oral worming medication every two weeks
🐈 Giving lots of cuddles

The sanctuary will provide everything they need whilst in your care. 🐾

We are looking for someone who can offer the following:

✅ Pet-free home or a spare room
✅ Cat savvy children
✅ A safe space within the home
✅ Someone who will be around most of the day
✅ Previous fostering experience of pregnant cats would be great but not essential.

All foster carers must be able to drive to the sanctuary and in the event of an emergency travel to The Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester & Aylesbury

Hello everyone! 👋🏻

I currently have additional spaces for group walks in and around Heyford Park on the following days and times:

Monday’s - 11am & 1pm (2 spaces for each time)
Tuesdays - 1pm (3 spaces)
Thursday’s - 11am & 1pm (2 spaces for each time)
Friday’s - 1pm (3 spaces)

Group walks provide excellent stimulation for your pooches. They get to socialise, play, sniff and explore! 🌳🐾

Last weekend I was looking after Guy (the sausage) for the day, so I thought what better way to spend our time together than a big walk in the Peak District! ✨

Olive and guy had THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES and so did I! We walked for miles through beautiful nature, came face to face with livestock, clambered over stiles, nearly fell over in the mud and met some lovely other dog owners along the way.

Couldn’t recommend Clari’s Dog Grooming enough! My little Olive is terrified of having her nails done (she’s been sedated in the past to have them cut) so initially we were only visiting today for Maria and Olive to get to know each other a little.. However, after no time at all, she was on the table having her nails done. With Maria’s loving and caring approach, she managed to cut them down with no stress. I’m beyond grateful, we’ll be back again very soon for the full works! ✨🫶

I am SO proud of little Guy! He accidentally fell in the canal earlier, got out, shook it off and jumped straight back in! Who knew sausages liked to swim, he even tried to dive down to look for pebbles (his fave thing).. Go on Guy! 🌭🤿

1 WHOLE YEAR OF ROSIE! 🦊🐾

It’s Rosie’s one year anniversary with Wag & Walk and my gosh, we’re so lucky to have her!

Rosie is a staple in our pack walks, welcoming every dog with open paws. She’s the best swimmer, #1 sniffing specialist (she will absolutely find that tennis ball you lost 6 weeks ago), a keen fox poo enthusiast, the fastest runner and the most gentle, loving pooch.

We can’t wait to see what the next year brings but one thing I know for sure, it’ll be a blast. 🫶

Here’s a little look into my Monday, thanks to all the pooches for taking part! 🥹🫶
