Early lunch we had the gingers and Betty. I said I would order her some hair dye to fit in next time.

Later lunch we had the hole digger and Miss Snow. Miss Snow had clearly had her weetabix this morning.

Lastly we had the squirrel catchers and our sniffy slow walk. It was all about where the squirrels hide today.

Is it summer?!

First up, we stalked Collette. There is no getting away from me.

Middle, Boris got carried because the rain is poison, Rosie saw a squirrel (pretty sure it was imaginary), Jim freaked out about a wrapper in the wind, Doug is rather annoying with his games but Lola managed the whole walk with bravery. I have been told that this wood is haunted by other pups.

Lastly, I found Rita likes a tunnel but Norman thinks they’re very worrying. I did have to climb though it to show him but it didn’t work and I got stuck.

Happy Friday everyone, see you next week xx

I was grumpy on the off about the weather.

First gang had a very leisurely potter. It was like watching paint dry. Every smell was caught and every plant was inspected. I was also late starting out so I was quietly freaking out.

Second walk we got absolutely soaked. Horribly so. Lola needed to be kept entertained so I did a little song and dance to stop the rain from putting a downer on us. Nellie panicked at me breaking out in dance and needed a cuddle. Peg completely ignored me. It’s like she expected it. Or Lisa does this permanently. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Third walk was a breeze. Literally. It was cold and by this point I had stopped singing and dancing.

Fourth walk was a breeze because I did a clever thing. I booked a field and played. We just played and it was lovely. Rita didn’t even notice the wind and rain!

The sun shone. I had unfortunately listened to the weather forecast and wore trousers with a very hot top to match 👍

Today we have all been delightful.

Early lunchers had rain on the Tarka trail but we held it all together.

Later lunch we bumped into Collette and her gang. We had a swim and a play.

Lastly we had the siblings and a flower search. Norman wasn’t in many photos as he was in my skin or attached to my body in someways ❤️

So, I’ve never seen a white campion, miss that flowers or wild peas. The nerd in me was strong today x

All mad in their own way.
We had
Mr sensitive with a new hair cut, he had zoomies on the whole walk.

Mr sensible and his perm. The perm couldn’t get wet

Mr Ihavetoomuchenergyandmusttellpeople. He told everyone in the car and then remained silent on the walk

Mr I’vebeenhereanddonethat who had, in fact, seen it and done it.

Then there was Tink….😂

Next up we had…

A school of children and their packed lunches 🤦🏻‍♀️
Miss Ilikemywalksandcanttoleratenaughtyboys. She didn’t have to tell anyone off. I think she was a bit miffed.

Miss Ilovepackedlunchesandbins. This was the most favourite walk ever. Kids and picnics.

We still had Mr sensible who thought the children and packed lunches were a little worrying.

And Mr Ivebeenhereanddonethat. He observed that all children were his children’s ages and had to check them out. One by bloody one.

Lovely day for exploring.

Snowy kept the boys in line. She has a new frock on and she liked to show it off. Pink to make the boys wink 😉

Late lunch and Boris was made to look rather small. I did think that he might have bossed the boys about in his “short man” sort of way but I was very wrong. Rosie was very pleased to see me until she saw the healthy treats were out.

Lastly, we found the creepiest wood to explore. I quickly noted that there were holes everywhere and not to walk here in the dark.

I’m back! Lots of space this week so feel free to book up, I need to walk off the Brie 🇫🇷

This early lunch we found a monument. Walked here many times and never noticed it. How do you miss something that big?

Later lunch had a blast on the beach. Ted killed many sticks and showed how tough he is. Rocky found a rugby ball and named it Wilson (if you know, you know). Betty ran!

Lastly Rita told the world she was a big dog, biggest in the world. We had a tearful few moments when the ball got washed away in the stream. Norman love’s squirrels!

Well. We say good bye to the lovely Lizzie and her immense patience for my weak chat and verbal diarrhoea. She’s battled all the bad weather and only experienced one day of coatless weather. Poor girl.

Also, a massive happy birthday to Rita!

Lovely sunny day.

Early lunchers I discovered my planning wasn’t the best with room. We had Doug, Jim, snow, Nellie and Jasper in the boot. Jim is the size of the boot 😂

Lunch time was a blast. Rocky “accidentally” fell in the water and Betty really did 😂. I’ve also discovered that Ted has me wrapped round his little claw.

Rita and Norman was a shaded walk and long grass lay downs. Norman is happily in the background finding treasure while Rita and I find shade.

I have nothing sarcastic to say about today. All well behaved and the sun shone. I would like more of this please.

Oh, I forgot. I did get pi**ed on though. I think most people would say that’s a bad day, if that’s what needs to happen to keep the sun, I’ll take it.

Well today was a delight 🙄. Video to follow

This video is long but I think we can all appreciate my mad dog. Naku thinks he’s mad and would like his mum. Dexter is so used to his crazy behaviour, doesn’t even bat an eyelid 😂

Does anyone use their phone to identify things while out and about? I’ve been doing it for a while but I didn’t realise it tells you the breed of dogs. I’m not sure it’s exactly right in every example 😂

So today was warm and absolutely lovely. Tomorrow is looking hotter and as the weekend goes on it gets warmer.

I know I like to bang on about this every year but it is really important. My insurance has a cut off of 26 but obviously other factors contribute, such as wind and clouds. This is also breed and age/health of a dog. This is the guide I use but I also use for Doug too, he’s bloody useless in the heat.

No wind and full sun made me accidentally flash some stranger on a beach. What I thought was a black strapless was in fact n**e. I hadn’t notice until the end of the walk, he must have been a bit shocked…..
