Hi guys so sorry I’ve been quiet for a while- Unfortunately due to how I started the business (a few customers who decided to leave my old employer and remain with me) I have been going through some legal things because she’s a little unhappy how because of all you wonderful people I have become pretty successful in terms of the grooming industry. Thank you all for the continued support I will be forever grateful 🙏🏻

I will be posting left right and centre to let you know I’m all back in the swing of things and although I’m still as busy as ever I will do my best to squeeze people in who thought I had shut down (again apologies to all who didn’t receive the text messages- I’m not very technology savvy)

Hi everyone a lot of clients haven’t received my text message update...
Unfortunately my operation was cancelled but they have given me a steroid injection in my shoulder to see me through... this means I am now back to work on a full time basis if you’d like to book in let me know... thanks so much for all your support and understanding hopefully see you and your furries very soon ###

Hey guys as most of you know I am unfortunately having to give up grooming for a minimum of 12 weeks and maybe for good due to injuries which need repairing via multiple operations. This is my last week working and so I’d love to thank all of my clients for their support. I will be providing references of suitable groomers to whoever wishes so please message me if need be. Thank you all once again I will miss you all dearly x

NOTICE FOR ALL!!!

FLEAS!!!

Just a polite notice- if your dog has a flea infestation please let me know prior to appointments. Before I groom your dog(s) they will need to be treated to kill the fleas. This is to protect other dogs from contracting them.
To prevent my van becoming contaminated at the beginning of each appointment I will be checking through dogs in your house with owners present and if I find fleas I will be refusing to groom your dog and charging full price for the appointment missed.

Last week I had to cancel 8 dogs because on two different occasions I found fleas on the dogs already in my van. This means me having to finish the groom, then go straight home where I have to deep clean the van and treat it with 2x flea bombs (1 in the groom area and 1 in the cab) the deep clean takes me 1hr and treatment takes me 2hrs that’s 3 hours of unpaid time aswell as however many dogs I’ve had to cancel that day.

Fleas are at an all time high this year and I am strongly advising that everyone keeps up to date with a VETERINARY STRENGTH flea treatment. These cannot be purchased from anywhere but vets!!! I have found the most effective to be the Soresto collars but that is my own opinion, your vet will know what is best for your pet.

I am a dog groomer- not a vet and most definitely not a pest control person/exterminator or fumigator.

Please also remember your house also needs treating with products such as flea foggers/bombs, indorex, etc
Steam cleaning and hoovering does not kill or stop fleas from reproducing.

If anyone needs any advice on how to treat your dogs/cats or house please message me and I’ll try to help as much as possible or otherwise your vet can also help.

The gorgeous Xena had her first full full tidy up as normally she’s a little neurotic 🙈 after grooming this girl for over a year now she’s finally given in and started to enjoy the grooming experience and isn’t she just so gorgeous!!!

Now this little monster was a demon when I started with him but now he is so chilled out and just snoozes for the entire groom... apart from the drying he howls like a baby!!!

This is before and after of one of my more mature clients. She’s the most beautiful soul and as soon as she’s clipped she runs around like a puppy. Deaf as a door post but she definitely knows what I’m saying when I call her beautiful 😍

UPDATE - COLIN IS NOW RESERVED
SAD NEWS FOR COLIN - This handsome 3 legged Rottie was due to travel to the UK next weekend but his adopter has had to withdraw 😢
The good news is that Colin has no adoption fee and his transport has been subsidised by our kind supporters so there is just a £100 contribution to pay for a potential adopter in the South East (slightly more for up North depending on the total transport cost).
Colin is a super friendly 4 year old male who adores all humans and gets on great with other dogs, regardless of gender. His missing leg does not stop him living life to the full and we’re sure he will brighten up any home. Please like and share this post like crazy to help him find the forever family he deserves.
