Don’t let you horses suffer any more, you might clean your horses sheath but are you checking in the right places for beans?

I can’t stress enough how important it is to have a professional check and clean your horses sheath!!! This is just as important as dentist / physio / chiro.

So many people say “ I clean my own horses sheath “ this might be true but have you got my experience and knowledge from the last 10 years? I have cleaned horses who have religiously been clean by there owners and are still missing the beans!

While cleaning your horse I’m also checking for abnormalities and cancerous tumors ( this is very Common and can now be treated with cream!! ) this could save your horses from suffering!
squamous cells can grow in your horses sheath or on his p***s, this can be easily treated with a course of “chemo cream” and you horse may just have that happy ending.

Beans are so uncomfortable and are equivalent to a water infection that never goes away! Or walking round with a stone in your wellie that you just can’t get rid of! how annoying?!

This can massively effect your horses work & performance ,
It’s very imported to get your jumpers & dressage horses checked regularly as you’ll find it will effect them more! A horse cannot use his back end properly when he has a grubby sheath and can also confused with lameness in some cases!!

It’s not just the beans that can cause a problem it’s the buildup itself. Can cause blisters and sores inside the sheath.

As the Karen’s say… you shouldn’t touch your geldings sheath it’s not natural… well actually geldings aren’t natural either a stallion is mating and cleaning his own sheath atleast 3 times a week in the wild ( if not more) they won’t get a build up like a gelding or even a stallion that doesn’t cover naturally.

Some horses show absolutely no signs of a bean other horses are know to be

Gumpy
Stubborn
Bolt
Bronc
Nap
Bite
Stamp
Sluggish or to speedy
Sharp off the leg.
If your horses shows any one of these symptoms its worth having a professional check his sheath!

Remember it’s not just beans that cause problems. The “yellow flaky stuff “ is shed skin that has been left over time, this WILL cause your horse to try and hold his p***s into the sheath ( kind of how we do when we have blisters off new shoes ) whilst doing so he isn’t working his back/ back end correctly whilst being ridden, this can even cause damage to the horses legs / suspensorys & tendons! WOW I KNOW RIGHT?! PLEASE DO NOT rip bits off when you see it or sq**rt baby oil up there. Cleaning a sheath incorrectly can not only cause an infection but can also create a breeding ground for bacteria’s to grow and creates a unhealthy sheath trust the professionals we do this all day every day.

Mares also get beans in the v***a (cl****al fosse ) aswell as a build up around their udders again causing lots of discomfort blisters and rubs which again can cause infection.

🥵GELDING’S ARE MANMADE DOMESTICATED ANIMAL 🥵

Geldings in the wild are non existent… they aren’t going on dates with mares and able to sheath Clean, did you know that a gelding physically cannot clean his own sheath?

Stallions can and that is why geldings suffer much more than your average stallion who can mate ( clean ) regularly!!

I take my job very seriously I can feel what a normal hand can’t… all these little lumps and bumps are nothing to some people but everything to me, I cannot physically diagnose your horse but I can advise you to seek immediate attention from the vet so you have longer with your best mate!

SHIRE HORSES? Twice the size twice the problem?!

Some huge beans out of some huge horses!! I even got to sit on one! couldn’t resist the offer lol 😝 the picture doesn’t do the size of this bean justice at all it was twice the size in real life!!
