Last night, we had two 16-week-old Boxer puppies join us for their introduction to mantrailing, and the transformation from their first to last trail was truly remarkable! Young pups are like sponges, soaking up everything around them, so starting them early on skills like mantrailing can have a lasting impact. These little Boxers not only learned that finding a human is rewarding but also built confidence as they worked through a completely new environment, with strange sights, sounds, and people around them. It’s so rewarding to watch these young pups discover their abilities and grow! We go at the puppy’s pace, letting them build confidence gradually—and they did fantastically! Mantrailing doesn’t just teach them a skill; it strengthens their focus, social skills, and resilience in new situations. Looking forward to seeing these two continue on their mantrailing journey!
