Meet Willow, Venus, Phoebe and Hulk!
This cheeky bunch came in for their health checks last week and certainly captured our attention 🤎

Did you know, ferrets are inquisitive, active and highly social; they can make wonderful companions for those who love a pet they can play with. However, like any animal, they are a big commitment and have their own specific needs.

Unfortunately we have had a deceased cat brought into our Saffron Walden practice. He was found in Henham; he is an entire young male, all black. Unfortunately no chip or collar. If anyone has any information please contact us on 01799 522755.

This handsome chap was found on Westfield Road this afternoon. He is microchipped but we have been unable to contact the registered owner so far. Please contact the practice on 01279 654108 if you think he may be yours or have any information about the owner.
Proof of ownership will be required.

THANK YOU so much to all of the wonderful team at Bishop's Stortford Veterinary Hospital for once again helping this weekend and today with injured/poorly foxes. I cant tell you how stressful and busy it has been lately, I have been inundated, but the team have been absolutely incredible, and honestly, I couldn't do this without them. It's amazing to know Woodland Paws have their support, and they share our love for our beautiful foxes.

Our very own vet Gina has been nominated for the award 🤩
Gina qualified in July 2023 and (along with pet whippet Pepper) she joined the BSVH team shortly after. Over the last year we have had the pleasure of watching Gina grow massively in both her experience and confidence; we are all very proud of the vet she has become and have no doubt she will continue to fly! 💙

Blue enjoying his spa session with nurse Deborah after his owner found him covered in Lily pollen! While Blue didn’t find his bath too relaxing, he definitely enjoyed his pamper session afterwards 🫧

Lilies are highly toxic to cats, with every part of the plant being poisonous, and having the potential to cause kidney damage. If you think your cat may have eaten, licked or been sniffing around any Lilies, contact your vet immediately for advice 💐

Little Finn came in to have his vaccinations and his ears checked and cleaned. Of course we couldn’t let this little cutie escape without a cuddle and a photo! ❤️

We had not one, but two ex laps! (Exploratory laparotomy, aka where we open up the abdomen to see what’s going on inside). Our amazing vet Freya and nurse Bethany were the dream team on that night, and even pulled a fish hook out of the first patient! 🪝
