It has to be titled that cos it really was all about Marshall and everyone LOVED him and he absolutely loved all the attention from everyone 🥰

Massive congratulations to Steph & Dan 💍 who tied the knot with Marshall even watching on in the service room he was that well behaved! He even got his own chair in the end too 😂

So not to overwhelm him we kept breaking out to the van for a drink and letting him sniff around to do his business in private. He had professional pics done too 😍 and posed absolutely beautifully!! Then once his posing was done he wore a GoPro for a little bit to capture part of the day from his point of view! Then we unwound on a long line with a good game of fetch on the grounds before setting back home 🥰

🐾 Meet Reggie…

Reggie attended his owners wedding on the 22nd September 2023 at Bashall Barn with Jen as his Chaperone!

What did Reggie’s package look like?
🐾 He came for a meet and greet, and a play date to meet his Chaperone, Jen!
🐾 He was picked up from his home on the big day.
🐾 He had a play in the playroom to let off some steam.
🐾 We gave him a brush, used our baby powder smelling spray and dressed him in his little tux.
🐾 We travelled to the venue and got their nice and early to make sure he had time to toilet and we could be directed to where we needed to wait.
🐾 We had to be extra careful as Reggie was a suprise for the Groom when it come to getting the rings! So we had to avoid many people seeing him and hide away until it was his time to shine!
🐾 As he was ring bearer we were then in charge of the rings and attached them to Reggie so he could proudly carry them down the aisle!
🐾 We then hid away again until it was time for pictures .. Reggie had a snooze 😂
🐾 Reggie participated in pictures striking poses with his mum and dad.
🐾 We then went back to Glencoe Kennels & Cattery and Reggie played with some other dog friendly dogs before having his sleep over with us 🥰
🐾 His newlywed owners then collected him the next day ❤️
(They also brought left over cake, which isn’t necessary but always welcome 😉)

Doggy Chaperone Service based in the North-West covering Lancashire 🐾

We own a 5* rated kennels:
Glencoe Kennels & Cattery 🐾

We aim to be as flexible as possible with our chaperone packages so if you have any bespoke requests please just ask and we will see what we can do to accommodate.. EG you live local but your weddings further afield.

Pricing will depend on lots of different things so we will price each client separately.

What we can offer..
- Meet and Greets before the big day so your dog gets to meet their Chaperone.
- A/some play morning(s)/ afternoon(s) before the big day so your dog gets used to the kennels and our routine (especially recommended if they haven’t stayed with us before) and some good bonding time with their Chaperone.
- Pick up from home.
- Drop off back at home.
- Exercise before travelling to the wedding (whilst keeping them clean!)
- Getting them ready for the big event making sure they’re brushed, clean, smelling nice and can be dressed in their outfit if you have supplied one.
- We will arrive at the Venue before the time we have been given so that they have time to go to the toilet and a good sniff around.
- We can liaise with your wedding/party planner so we know what’s expected of us on the big day (EG is the dog carrying rings down the aisle? Are they just there for pictures? Etc)
- We will have tasty natural treats on hand to keep your dog settled/engaged.
- Our vehicle is suitable for all breeds and even multiple smaller breeds. (We are fully insured).
- Obviously as we’re a kennels your dog will spend the night with us so no need to worry about finding a paw-sitter when all your friends and family are at your big day.
- Your dog can spend one or more nights with us, whatever works best for you.

Please note, our kennels open as early as 7.30am and our kennels close for bedtime at 5pm so timings must mean we are back at the kennels ready for bedtime routine by 4.45pm. This means we are unable to help with evening time chaperoning, sorry! There may be some wriggle room on times in the summer months where it’s lighter and warmer in the evenings, so again, please just ask and we can discuss.

Chaperone Jen is open to chaperoning further afield weddings where she has to stay in a dog friendly hotel overnight, please just ask and we can discuss.

We’re still in the process of setting up our socials but we can’t wait to share what fun Reggie had on Friday!

A very necessary shoutout to for their amazing service on Friday. Reggie was the ring bearer for his mum and dads wedding and Jen did the best job of organising it, looking after him and feeding him treats. Thankyou!

And for of course making him look tip topperoo for his big moment…dogs at weddings are always a yes!
