GINO - Tonight we had Gino the Cane Corso in for semen analysis and a mating. He has an unbelievable count - producing 414 million per 1ml. Meaning tonight we collected and inseminated two billion and seventy million sperm and on top of that he had 100% motility & mobility. Before using any stud dog we always recommend a semen analysis to be preformed to ensure everything is how it should be. At felines and co we are pro cytology. We strive to be a no needle clinic (apart from microchipping for safety). Simply because in our opinion a progesterone test, which involves drawing blood with a needle, isn’t necessary when you know how to swab and how to read a slide properly 🔬 with our training and experience we have had a very high success rate in confirmed pregnancies using this method.
