Today we celebrated two very special birthdays 🥳
A 3rd birthday for our wonderful, fun loving wild child Mylo who has been a day care member since a puppy. He is very popular with our other guests and never fails to make us smile with his boundless energy. ⚡️🤪
And our very own Susie turns 2 today. Susie is a familiar face here at Springfield and many of our clients would have met Suise trying to assert her authority 🗣️ being so small you need to let your vioce be heard some how🤷‍♀️ and we wouldn’t change her for the world 💓
They both had a fun day celebrating with friends and plenty of goodies 🐶🧁

The last month has been a work hard play hard one.
✔️ We breezed through another annual inspection 🔖 Well done girls for your continued hard work and amazing care for each and everyone of our guests 🥰
✔️We enjoyed an evening off for our Christmas get together. Thank you Alun for holding the fort while we let our hair down for a few hours 💃
✔️We took part in the Mercedes Thomas Christmas Tractor Run 🚜 We hope you all saw our Rudolph? It was a brilliant evening for an amazing charity and a special person! Thank you everyone for all your support ❤️
✔️ We enjoyed some snow days with our guests and braved storm Bert with the help of our water proof onesie’s
✔️ We are making great progress with the new luxury suites and hoping to be up and running in the next few months. We cannot wait to show you all around 🤩

🚜 Billie and the girls will be taking part to help raise money for these incredible organisations on the 1st of December 🚜

Not many people realise but Hospices in the Uk only receive around a third of their funding from the government. The rest is raised through fundraising and charity events like this.

This is a cause close to our hearts and we would be immensely grateful for any donations 💕

We will be passing through Gilfach, Bargoed, Blackwood, Maesycwmmer, Caerphilly, Ystrad Mynach and finishing at Colliers Adventure Farm 🚜

👋 Meet Haddon Training apprentice, Mia, who is currently completing her Level 2 Animal Care qualification at Springfield Boardings Kennels, Blackwood.

Mia says, “I love the hands-on development that an apprenticeship offers. I'm a practical learner and I liked the idea of obtaining a qualification whilst being in employment. The qualification will give me a range of new skills, knowledge and confidence to progress my career and I’ll have a recognised qualification when .”
