💥OPENING SOON💥

Some dry weather at last! It’s been a busy few days getting the expansion of the new grass livery to a point where we feel we’re finally getting somewhere, it’s always satisfying loading the truck up with fencing materials and actually seeing it all come together (6km of electric rope, 60,000 steps & 50km later, We’ve definitely earned a massive 🍷 tonight!)

A huge thank you to Harvey at Redman TFB, for getting the main tie up & hay storage shelters built in such challenging weather.

Facilities…..

🌱- 1.5 acres of individual grazing per horse with self filling water troughs. (multiple horse owners / friends can share, rest & rotate)
🌱- Excellent natural shelter from the prevailing weather direction (no objection to shelters being put in providing they are on skids)
🌱- self contained yard with shelter, water & solar lighting.

🌱- Use of schooling facilities (50 x 70 jump school, 20 x 60 school & lunge pen, all with lights)

I know they are a pain but please can everyone using the arena make sure the sandbags are put back on the jump wings (in the same place) before you exit, gale force winds are forecast for the next few days and everything will clatter over, causing damage to the wings & fillers if they aren’t. Thanks very much 😊

☑️Storage space outside the paddock & within a barn

This paddock has worked very well in the past with 2 retired native ponies, the horizontal part of the paddock runs the entire length of top barn grazing so the horses that come in must be ok with mares and must be happy with all horses coming in overnight during winter (the horses in the paddock advertised will be the only ones out over night and potentially in bad weather during the day over the wetter winter months). There is superb natural shelter from the prevailing weather direction and the layout offers multiple options for grazing management.

I’ve got 2x tickets for England v Wales tomorrow at Twickenham if anyone is interested in going, sadly we can’t, so offering them out.

💩A bit of a grumble & a polite reminder💩

We're getting increasingly frustrated with having to pick up droppings from the car park (and track down to the arena), the droppings in the wheel barrow was one week's worth, and the car park photo after one day of me clearing everything😢. PLEASE pick up your horses droppings before you exit, we all carry skips and tubs in our trailers or lorries, we all know when & where our horses have 💩, we generally have a helper on the ground and the job only takes a couple of minutes, we take a lot of pride in our venue, please give it the same courtesy.

✔️ horses must be retired

✔️ the total area is 2.4 acres (in an L shape) so horse size is a consideration.
