We have had another delivery from Miro & Makauri, Douglas the Dachshund and Sean the Sheep have joined our Miro Menagie. They are eco friendly having been made from natural and sustainable 100% genuine leather, jute rope and filled with coconut fibres making it completely harmless if ingested. How cool is that!

Vegetable dyes are used for colouring so there is nothing to worry about there either.

So if you are looking for a toy for a light to moderate chewer as a gift for one of your furry friends this Christmas, please pop in and see the full range.

We only have natural treats in our shop, NO Rawhide! It is toxic and potentially life threatening and there is plenty of it to be found in certain shops in town!
Please don't buy it, if they can't sell it eventually they will stop stocking it.

This gorgeous Goldie was desperate for a breakfast roll after a lovely long walk this morning.

Knowing that we close at 12.30pm on a Tuesday there would be no chance for a late lunch so a pork roll was selected and consumed on the premises 😋😋🐾🧡

Happy Birthday to us! 🎉

I just wanted to share as this small independent seller has found themselves with an excess of sausage rolls, who doesn't love a proper sausage roll? If I wasn't busy with family I would pop over and get some! Pretty sure they would freeze well 😋

There is a school science lab workbench up for grabs in the shop due to the move around. A donation which will be passed on to Climping Dog Rescue would be lovely. It is a bit wobbly, and full of character.

Does your pet’s fur protect them from the cold? ❄️

In most cases, yes! But in really wet and cold weather, if your pet isn't able to keep active or get themselves somewhere warm, their fur coat may not be enough. Like us humans, our pets, though thankfully rarely, can develop a dangerous and potentially deadly condition called hypothermia.

Any pet can become seriously ill if the temperature of their body drops too low, and acting quickly and doing the right thing could save your pet’s life.

Here are some key symptoms to look out for during the winter months! And if you suspect your pet may have hypothermia, it’s important to call your vet straight away and follow their advice ⚠️
