Westhoughton dog park

I have had a number of people highlighting that people are turning up to early for there appointments
Please do not turn up more than 5 minutes early
It is in the rules and we do appreciate traffic can very at different times , but if you arrive early can I ask you do not enter the car park of westhoughton dog park and stay on the lane until your booked time slot ,
The dog park is to cater for private sessions and this rule is for a reason ,
So this is a polite request for people to respect the person and dogs using the dog park before and after them ,

Please bring your own drinking water for your dogs to the dog park
Unfortunately our water is frozen solid 🙈

If you have booked the all weather
The keypad to get in is not working
The service gate is unlocked so you can get in that way
I will get it fixed asap 🙈🙈

The water might be frozen in the enclosures due to the drop in temperatures
So please bring some with you 🙈🥶

Because we have had a lot of heavy rain
I have shut the agility field off
To to stop people being disappointed if they use it 🙈
If you do need the agility and understand the fields do get wet
Your welcome to call me and I can sort the booking out over the phone
I know some dogs love to play on this field

Well done boys

U14's Wyfl

Today our under 14s played Cherrybrook Athletic ⚽️

We started with a well observed minutes silence remembering our fallen heroes ❤️

What a fantastic game this afternoon and well worth the wait 😁

Our lads dominated the game from start to finish.

The 1st half has got to be up there with one of the best team performances I have seen. 👏👏

Every time we went forward, we looked dangerous, with clinical passes into the right areas and brilliant decision making.

At the back, we were well disciplined and kept our shape throughout, getting vital challenges in and making some really good passes to get us going forward.

Oliver was rarely tested, but his starting positions were fantastic today, taking the pressure off the defenders by being able to claim the ball and distribute effectively 👏👏

Our attitudes and behaviour were exceptional today as always. ❤️

🏆 Kian ( a constant threat up front today, some fantastic movement and finishes)

Now the weather is definitely turning
And the all weather will be booked up fast ,
I do have a smaller all weather which I will use as a back up for people who desperately need it
It will not be available to book on the website as it's a back up
But for anyone who can not get into the all weather you can call me 07710410082
It will only be able to be booked via me personally
It is smaller but idea to give dogs a good play on a all weather surface
Hope this helps going into dreaded winter months

Some one has left a pair of trainers by the all weather
I have put them in the large black pipe near field 3 (all weather ) so they might dry out a bit 🙈🌧️

Please can I just remind people
When you book an enclosure you must vacate 5 minutes before the next appointment is due in the enclosure to ensure a save cross over
If everyone can keep to the rules than everything should run smoothly

Please do not let your dogs chew the water containers it's getting a bit off a pain now 😡also when in Feld 2 you are not meant to take the water containers to the top of the field
They must stay in the hut
The reason for this is to prevent dogs thinking they are toys

I will apologise now if I don't answer the phone tomorrow , unfortunately I have to go to hospital for a little operation and will not be able to always have my phone on , all should be back to normal for Sunday
