Asphalt, wood and sand can get very hot during the summer months. They absorb heat from the sun and can stay warm for hours.

Your dog's pads are one of the most sensitive parts of their bodies. It is therefore very important to take good care of them.

Use the 7 second rule: press the back of your hand against the asphalt for 7 seconds. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws.
