Say hello to Jessie and Alfie! 😍🐾just two of the many gorgeous pets we have treated recently for dentals. Dental disease is one of the most common problems that we come across every day! We are able to carry out dental treatments, under general anaesthetic, including dental X-rays inside our fully equipped mobile van outside your home. We have a registered veterinary nurse to monitor your pet closely with constant one on one attention. Jessie the Sproodle had a scale and polish, her owners are happy to brush her teeth to help reduce the tartar build up and Alfie the Chihuahua had 26 extractions! he was such a brave boy 🐕🐶 If you have any dental or other enquiries, please give us a call on 01287 349019 or drop us an email [email protected] and we will by happy to help 😊

This is Alex the golden retriever 🦮😍

Alex has been struggling with his arthritic joints for some time, and is currently receiving all the very best to help him 💉🩺🐾

He also has a car phobia 🚗 So cannot travel to the vets, so we go to him, obviously! 🚐 🏠 He’s a regular patient of ours, and we always love going to see him - he’s such a cool dude as you can see 😎

Alex has been doing really well on a lovely combination of medicines 💊 He also receives therapeutic laser treatments and physiotherapy in addition - it’s lovely knowing he’s receiving the best treatment making him as comfortable as possible ☺️

There are many reasons why a mobile vet works well for people, and Alex is a great example of this. We’re privileged to be able to help him so he can continue to play with his toys! 🦮❤️

We’ve seen some gorgeous pets recently, here are just a few 🤩 First up is the cutest babies Blossom and Trixie who had their full puppy vaccination course 💉 and they didn’t flinch, well done girls! 💪🏼😍

With the new law coming into place next month with mandatory cat microchipping we have been doing a lot of these 🐈🐱💉 Here is the beautiful boy Buddy who got his recently😻

And finally we have Ghostie the pug who had her nails trimmed, she was no bother, such a lovely girl ☺️🐶

We hope everyone has had a lovely weekend in the sun 🌞 and all our pets have been kept safe from any excessive heat 🐾😺

Catching up on a few pets we’ve helped in the past month or so 🩺🚐🐭 All these beautiful guys below each had a surgical procedure in our fully equipped van, right outside their home 🏠 Reducing the stress for them and their owners - and us! As we can focus fully on one pet at a time, giving them one on one attention 🥰🐾

First up is the gorgeous Boo of 13 years 😍 Boo had a lot of diseased teeth extracted - she’s been doing great since, coping much better without those teeth giving her grief 🦷 Extra well done Boo! 👏🏻 Next up is the handsome Zeus who had his routine castration procedure 🐕‍🦺🐕 He was such a lovely gentle giant ☺️ And finally we’ve got the girls Elsa and Lilo 😻🐈🐈‍⬛ these girls had their routine spay operations - they were both lovely and relaxed enjoying our calming pet remedy spray before their procedures 🥰

Julie has been working with us for a few weeks now, so some of your may have met her or spoke to her on the phone already 🐁🐕 Julie will be manning our phones, emails and messages most days of the week - it’s all very new to her but she’s doing amazing and learning fast 💪🏼😺
Julie is a true animal lover and has a gorgeous black cocker spaniel of her own called Ted, as you can see, how cute is he? 🥰🐶

Happy Saturday everyone 😀🐾🐶

We’ve had a busy time recently out on the road 🚐 but also in the office! We’ve been struggling a little for time to get Facebook posts out regularly, but this will be changing soon and our instagram will also be alive very shortly… so watch this space! 🤩🤞🏻🐾

Some updates on what we’ve been up to below: First up is Mowgli the beautiful Bernese mountain dog 😍 who was so good allowing us to clean and treat an ear infection 🐶 Silvie and Sophie the lovely duo in the same house - Silvie was so brave having had some blood taken for a simple blood test🩸💉 and Sophie the shy Romanian rescue who is slowing getting used to us using our therapeutic laser to help her shoulder arthritis ☺️🐕 Then we have the cutest boy Otto for his full vaccination course 🥰 And finally the stunning Willow who had her spay operation in our van, she’s been doing really well since and mum is just pleased there’ll be no more kittens! 🐱🐈‍⬛

We are looking for another registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team! 🤩😻

If you’re an RVN who has plenty of experience in first opinion small animal practice, wants a change of scenery and pace, enjoys giving excellent client and patient care then please read on ☺️🐾

We are fully mobile - meaning everything is performed in our fully equipped vet van or in the home. There is a fair amount of driving, and having experience or confidence driving a large van would be an advantage. We don’t set strict appointment times as we don’t like to rush away, we take the time it takes per pet and visit. This means a lot of time pressure is relieved and we get to know people and their pets well. We are a small team and offer excellent continuity of care and a personal service for each pet/owner ☺️

Main tasks will be working alongside and supporting the vet in day to day activities and having specific nurse consults by yourself.

Generous package awaits for pay, holidays, overtime, there is no weekend work or bank holidays. Full or part time hours considered.

Happy Easter everyone 🐣🐶🐾

Thank you to all for your continued support and recommendations, we’ve been open exactly 4 months now and we couldn’t have gotten this far without you all putting your trust in us and our service 😻☺️

Like every vet practice there’s the ups and the downs, but we love what we do and believe in offering the best possible service we can to our community 🐈🐾

We’ve been performing a lot of dental procedures recently, we love doing dentals as we have a special interest in dentistry and want to give the best care and treatment we can provide to your pet. We have a dental X-ray on board the van, and all the modern equipment and training to be able to do the best job we can do 🩻🩺🦷

Below we have the beautiful Snowy and Ruby; both these lovely girls had dentals in our van 🚐 and had many extractions between them 🦷 Both have recovered perfectly and are living their healthiest lives again with clean, none diseased teeth 😁🥰

This is a post about our charging 💵 one of the things we strive to be here at BRMV is completely transparent, and this includes our prices! We get a lot of enquires about the cost of our services and of course we are very happy to answer these, but we want people to understand why we charge different to other static vets 🙂

Where we can keep our prices competitive and sometimes lower then your average static practice vet is for our operations, medicines, and things that we can do a lot of once we’re at your home (eg. a litter of puppies to vaccinate). We only mark up our medicines a small percentage so to help keep costs as reasonable as possible. And the reason we can keep basic operations competitive is because we are experienced and efficient at what we do 💪🏼

The services you might find to cost more compared to your normal vet are things like the initial vet consult, booster vaccinations and end of life care. Your normal static vet can see take 4 consults in an hour, we can often only take 1 😎 We have to charge more, for the time it takes to get to you and the time it takes to deliver the quality service we provide, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to make ends meet 🚐

This is what we can offer you to make it worth your hard earned pennies:
☀️ continuity of care - we are a very small team, you will not be seeing a different face every time we visit.
☀️ A more personal service - we spend time to get to know you and your pet, when you call us we will know who you are and remember your pet.
☀️ A less stressful and more convenient experience - for your pet and you! No travelling, no carriers, no rushing around, no feeling pressurised to get out the consulting room with dogs barking in the waiting room.
☀️ Care - we want to help and make things better for you and your pet, there’s nothing that makes us happier than your pet receiving the best treatment and recovering from their ailments 🧡
☀️ Experience - the staff are experienced and skilled at what they do and will take the time necessary to have honest conversations, give you the time you need to understand, and provide you with the information you require.

This is Gizmo and Joey the two rescue chihuahuas 😍🐾

They both had their castrations, microchips and tooth scale and polish 🦷🩺 in our mobile vet van, just outside of their foster home 🏡 They did so well and are recovering perfectly after lots of rest 🧡🤎

We perform all our basics surgeries in our van 🚐 everything in a normal vet practice is in this van to keep pets safe during their general anaesthetic 🩺 we always have a registered veterinary nurse to monitor each pet closely, and they have constant one on one attention 😸 we go through everything you need to know to be able to look after them after their initial recovery in the van, and only leave when everyone is happy 🚐🩺 Recovering in their home takes away a lot of the stress for them, which we find is a major benefit ☺️🐾

We treat each pet like the individual they are and take care of them like they are our own 🙂

Hi everyone! 👋🏻🐶

We’ve had a great past few weeks of lots of dental treatments 🦷🩺🩻 We love doing dentals as it can be life changing for our pets who experience dental pain on a daily basis, and to relieve that for them is fantastic 🤩😸

We perform all our surgery in our fully equipped van outside your home. Everything in a normal vet practice is in our van to help keep your pet safe for the procedure, including constant and careful monitoring from our Veterinary nurse Julie 🩺🧡

We have a dental X-ray on board to allow to us assess the teeth 🦷 and if any extractions are necessary 🩻

Bella the lovely chihuahua had a few extractions and a deep clean leaving her with a lovely clean comfortable mouth - she did amazing and is back to her normal self again 💛🐶🤎

St Nic is the beautiful ginger boy 🧡 who had dental disease for many years as a stray - he had full X-rays which revealed a mouth of broken teeth remnants - all fractured tooth remains alongside the decayed ones were removed and that night he ate 8 pouches of food! It is so wonderful to hear how much better he feels now 🥰😻

We are a fully mobile small animal vets who attend house calls within East/South Cleveland and the upper part of the north York moors 🐕🐾 We are available to everyone in this area to come see their pets in the comfort of their own homes 🏡🐈 We offer a very personal service, taking the time to get to know you and your pets, and tend to their needs as an individual 🐇🐁🐕‍🦺 We also offer excellent continuity of care, as we are a very small team ☺️

The services we can offer are pretty comprehensive and everything can be performed in our fully equipped vet van 🚐 or in your home directly🏠🐾

For example, Karma the gentle giant has been receiving therapeutic laser treatments from our van weekly for a limp - he loves our attention and treats so much we sometimes find it hard to get him OUT of the van 🚐 😂 Teddy, the golden oldie, also seemed to enjoy his grooming and did so well for a blood sample to monitor his thyroid - another gold star for you ⭐️🥰 And finally Morse - the ex racing greyhound who, in classic greyhound style, decided to have his kennel cough vaccine and most of his health check lying on his couch 😍 If you can why not?! Good job Morse 🐕

1000 likes!! 🤩

Thank you to everyone for all your shares, likes and follows - we are so happy we have reached so many people 🐾😸 We love what we do and really enjoy meeting people and their pets in a more relaxed environment 🐕 We don’t time our visits which makes it less stressful for everyone, including ourselves 🐭

We’ve had a great last couple of weeks, seeing a variety of pets and doing lots of different things 🐶 Three patients we have seen recently have been the handsome Rex 🦮😍 He had his castration in our mobile vet clinic and has done wonderfully well since. Second is the sweetest little rat Lily who had a lump removed 🐀 she took a shining to nurse Julie snuggling into her before and after her operation 🥰 Finally, the lovely April who we saw recently for a skin condition - she had her elf suit on to stop her itch until we gave her some medicine, how cute is she! 😻

Everyone meet the lovely Ben and Jerry 🐈‍⬛😻

These brothers are British shorthairs and I think you will agree they are the most handsome boys! Here they are looking sleepy after their sedations 🥰 At a routine health check we noticed these lads had some dental disease. Dental disease is one of the most common problems we see in pets on a daily basis 🦷 Some pets only require a little brushing to help them out but others need a full dental cleaning plus extractions, whilst under a general anaesthetic 🩺🐈

We carry out dental procedures in our fully equipped vet van, including dental X-rays when needed 🩻 We always find X-rays in cats in particular beneficial and here are a few of Jerry’s teeth - bless him! Thankfully, Jerry is doing well after his procedure and continues to eat perfectly, and hopefully with more comfort now his rotten teeth have been removed. Ben as well is also recovering perfectly after a few extractions himself 🦷😸 Well done boys, you’ve done amazing 🤩

Hi everyone 👋🏻 🐾

We just want to thank you all for your continued support, kind words and reviews and for helping spread the word about us! We love what we do as it’s so rewarding taking some of the stress away for pets and owners by coming to the home, for anything from a simple check up to basic surgical procedures! 🤩🩺

This is a feline appreciation post! 🐈🐱😻🐈‍⬛

We see a lot of cats in our mobile practice, and we’re so happy to take away some of the stress for them in doing so 🥰 No travelling to vet clinics, no waiting in carriers in waiting rooms and no scary dogs barking within close confinement! We find cats very often prefer to be examined and treated in the van, as they do less trying to escape then when in their own home, but every cat is different and we do what’s best for each individual and see them wherever they prefer 😺

Here are just a few of our more recent feline patients 🐈 The beautiful brothers Max and Sox 🥰 who each signed up to our pet health plan and started their vaccinations 💉 Laika the lovely lad who is relaxing on the comfy electric blanket preparing for his castration 😻 And finally Salem the stunning boy who we saw for itchy skin 🐈‍⬛🖤

Everyone meet the Ruby’s 🐶🐕🥰!

Both these gorgeous girls had procedures in our fully equipped mobile vet van recently ☺️🚐 First up is Ruby the cutest three legged Jack Russell we’ve ever met 🥰 She had a major dental which involved many dental extractions 🦷 Bless her heart! Thankfully she’s fully recovered, and at 15 years of age we think she’s done absolutely amazing 🤩👏🏻

Next up is the full of joy Ruby the schnauzer cross who had teeth out AND a fatty lump removed 🦷😍 She did great and I’m glad to say she’s fully back to smiling and tail wags after her procedure 👏🏻🐾

We love doing basic operations in our van, we find it’s so much less stressful for the pet (and owner!) as they can recover for the most part in their own home and not have to hang out for long periods of time at the vets 🐶🩺

Belated Happy New Year everyone! 🥳🤩🥂

We’ve had a really busy couple of weeks accommodating everyone after the bank holidays ☺️🐕🐈🐾

Thank you as well to everyone for their patience with us answering the phones, often we are on the road whilst balancing this, so please just leave us a voicemail if we can’t answer straight away and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can 🙏☺️

Here is an accumulation of a few of the gorgeous pets we’ve seen over the past few weeks 😀 starting with Roxy the Jack Russell 🐶🤎 who had her teeth cleaned and a fatty lump removed from her leg 🐕 And her mates Wilfy and Monty; Wilfy also had his teeth cleaned and a cyst removed from his eyelid 😍 Here they both are relaxing in their homes after their anaesthetics ☺️🩺 Monty didn’t have anything done but just wanted all the fuss! 🥰🐾 After this we have the lovely mini lop bunny who was so new to his family he didn’t yet have a name 🐰🐇 He was so well behaved, and just sat there for his vaccine and vet check 😍 Finally, the beautiful Jayce, a British Shorthair kitten of 9 weeks receiving his first vaccine ❤️🐈‍⬛ Such a cutie! ☺️🐾

Hi everyone 👋🏻🐕

We hope you and your pets have all had a happy and healthy Christmas!🎄🎁

We’ve had a relaxing few days off and we’re pleased to be back open again tomorrow, Thursday and Friday 9-6pm 😺 We have a few spaces to see people, if you need our help give us a call on 01287 349019 tomorrow and we’ll do our best to accommodate you 🐹🐾 If we don’t answer straight away please leave a voicemail, thank you ☺️

We see a lot of gorgeous puppies for their first and second vaccines, and here is a selection of the beauties that we’ve seen recently 🐶 Puppies are often only quiet and still enough to photograph when they are either chewing or sleeping 🐩😂 The favourites tend to be my stethoscope, shoes or fingers! 🐕🐾

Firstly, Peggy and Freda the gorgeous jugs who were both utilising the stethoscope for their teething opportunities 🥰 Molly the beautiful Lhasa Apso who just about managed to sit still on my vet bag ☺️ And finally the sweet little robust westy who’s already gone to his new forever home 🐾🐕

Dental procedures at BRMV 🦷😺 We can perform basic surgeries and procedures in your mobile vet van, dental procedures being one of them 🤩 The service you get from a mobile practice is very different to that of a static practice. And specifically at BRMV we have various features that will enhance yours and your pets experience with us 💕🐾 🦷 No stressful waiting around in the vets before the procedure. It doesn’t matter what the character of your pet is; being in a kennel waiting for your procedure to happen ranges from just plain boring to sheer terrifying 🙀🙁 🦷 The quality of attention you and your pet receives is one of our main priorities ☺️ You will get full support before, on the day and after we leave in terms of verbal and written instruction on what to expect and how to care for your pet. During their procedure they will have one on one attention from the vet and nurse throughout 😺 🦷 During the procedure itself we have everything we need to make the experience as pleasant, efficient, up to date and as effective as possible this includes a dental X-ray 🩻 to assess the roots for resorptive lesions (especially in cats) and to assess for periodontal disease and root fractures. We also perform nerve blocks to keep your pet comfortable throughout and in the post op period 🥰 We have the best tools and experience to allow for excellent care for your pet 🐶🐱🐰 🦷 No waking up in a strange place or hanging around in the vets after your pet has finished their initial recovery. We find this is so beneficial for their stress levels that it can help their healing ☺️ And of course we do not leave until we are absolutely happy everyone is ok 👌😺 These are just the main benefits to our pets having a dental or any procedure done in our vet vans! Thanks everyone for all your enquires, shares, likes and for continuing to spread the word about us! 🤩 every single enquiry means a lot and we’re so grateful for the power of Facebook 💪🏼🐾🐕🐈‍⬛ This week has been another very busy one… 🐶 our pet health plans have been finalised and about 10 days off ready to be launched 🤩 🐰 several pieces of big kit are now in the bag; a dental X-ray 🩻, an ultrasound and a class 4 therapeutic laser! These are going to be so useful to help diagnose and treat our pets 🐈 🐱 our software is coming along and I’m going to give people the opportunity to register themselves through an app we’ll have…watch this space for updates on this! Finally, behind the scenes the vet van is also coming along nicely ☺️ My wonderful partner and his team are working hard to get “Daphne” ready in time 💪🏼 If it wasn’t for him, his crew and all their individual expertise it would be impossible to convert a former nhs ambulance into a vet practice, I am so thankful 💕🐾 In amoungst all the organised chaos I’m trying to also do what I love best to keep my head straight, walking up hills 😳🏔️ this was a video of my hike which ended by traversing down the footpath that had in fact turned into a river 🌧️🌊😂 Have a great weekend everyone! ☺️ #hillwalking #mobilevets #familyrunbusiness #independentvets #vetclinic #vetsurgery
