A warm welcome to little

He is still only a younger chap so we are taking each walk as it comes. Getting him used to going out with someone new and going at his pace is important at these early stages. He’s doing super well! Next week we will do some exploring in the car ready for a trip out the week after

Sniffing the flowers and then watering them 🤪

Did you know you can book a 2hour adventure walk on my website.

A longer and more energetic walk. We enjoy scent focused games whilst walking plus the use of our natural surroundings to hop over logs and focus on the dogs foot placement.

The solo walk will last around 2 hours. Fresh water will be provided at all times and a essential cool down period will take place at the end of the walk.

This is a great opportunity to allow your dog to explore a new area and let of some steam. It is a fun, positive experience by learning new things it gives them a boost of confidence

All dogs must of carried out a Meet & Greet beforehand, which can be booked via the website.

Adventure Walks take place once a month however if you would like to book multiple walks a discount will be applied

Dipping those toe beans in the cool water

We had an earlier start to walks today. Although it was cooler it was good to get going because in typical British weather style it can change quickly!

This chap found a himself a nice log after his splash which we carried around the walk and into the car for the journey home.
Just don’t tell him that i had to remove the log from the car so i could fit the next lot of doggies in 🤣

It’s taken us a little while to get into the swing of someone new coming in to take them for a walk but now we have taken that time to get to know each other we are off!!

Im excited to get exploring more walks within their area and of course to get to know them even more

I have a few lovely older ladies at walking paws.

This gorgeous gal only needs 30 mins to be able to stretch her legs, do her thing, have a pawdle through every puddle we see then home for a wash and towel dry. Oh and her treat (must NOT forget that) lots of fuss. A break for some fresh air is sometimes all they need.

HOW TO USE A TICK TWISTER ✔

Do NOT DELAY removing the tick. Prompt removal reduces the risk of Lyme disease.
Remember to disinfect the bite area and wash your hands thoroughly.

❗ BEWARE OF MISINFORMATION ONLINE ❗

DO NOT do any of the following:
• burn the tick
• smother the tick in Vaseline
• rub around it with a cotton bud
• squeeze the tick
• stick tape over it
• try to pull it out with ordinary eyebrow tweezers

If you do anything to it while it is attached and feeding other than removing it as described above you will be distressing the feeding tick which will make it more likely to regurgitate tick born diseases such as Lyme Disease and bacteria into the dogs body.

Building a bond Im a new person to you and your dog. Having someone new take your dog out can upset the routine slightly. Yes it is exciting for your dog but sometimes it can be a bit unsettling for them. I take a calm relaxing approach to the first few walks.
