I have finally started asking for reviews again. I have great clients who appreciate straight talking and guidance on how to make it all work better with their dogs.
Both reviews were 5 ⭐️ on Bark.com
Residential training

My dog George was in training for 2 weeks with Karen! He was very well looked after and they worked every day and I received videos and updates! George has come back home after being collected and delivered by Karen with a really good understanding of what’s expected of him and how he reacts and responds to commands! He is very responsive and has grasped the training well Karen is excellent and I rate her very highly 5 ☀️ and very very knowledgeable!
One to one sessions

I came to Karen with a dog reactive Shepherd cross. Within minuites Karen had her behaving and ignoring other dogs, to the point I think Karen may have thought I made it all up. I now feel much more confident I am on the right path to progression and have added the correct basics to better manage when she does react to other dogs. After a long period of limited progress Karen has put us in the right direction, and I feel I have the tools to continue to develop between now and our next session.

Showing he knows leave it with other things and not just food set ups.
Temptation alley. Well done Yogi Bear
My girls this morning, such a pleasure to have these beauties. OK, we will ignore the chaos they make at home and Chilli being so destructive.
Monty still listening while sniffing
All a bit busy for last 3 weeks since Chilli the pup and Cleo the 2yr arrived, all while I have had home visits for 2 separate border collie pups who needed help local to me, while I still have the lab pups that I nanny and train on a regular basis.
Chilli is doing very well, quick to learn, lovey attitude, enjoys her outings. We attend a group class with another local great trainer so she gets used to distractions and she is smashing it each week.
Cleo is having lots of outings to help her stay calm in busy areas, staying calm (mainly) when other dogs are close to her walking by on and off lead. Progressing slowly with her as she is so sensitive so a gently approach is needed for her. Her heel work when she came here was appalling with her trying to walk in front or across me, she is being taught the basics with distractions on walks.
The labs are back to previous good standard.
Next week I have a week long day train with a young 8 months old pup, working on recall and calmness around other dogs.
Mabel is back here for a week boarding.
This week I have 9 dogs in the house so that’s 4 walks a day plus training sessions, plus fitting in lunches for the 2 dobergirls while they gain weight. Both looking much much better.
This is Cleo first time loose, recalled each time including when a young lad rode close by us, she came away, then decided to chase and play but called off again and dashed back to me.
