A succesful 14 day scan for Fields of Remembrance today!

Fingers crossed for a strong heartbeat in a couple of weeks time.

Reva is by Cayberry Final Salute out of Austell Elegance, and is part of one of the rare mare lines, so I am also crossing my fingers for a filly!

She is infoal to Shilstone Dunna Brook.

On Sunday just gone, we attended Northern Dartmoor Pony Show with 2 of our girls.

Westown Weeping Willow was 2nd in the 3yo filly class

Langworthy Snow Finch was 2nd in the home produced mares and 4th in the mares with certificate of service!

On Monday we had 3 mares successfully scanned in foal!

Seves Dontpush*t (Paddock Golden Dancer x Wian Ultimate) has been scanned in foal to Eyarth Braveheart (due 22nd March 2020)
I look forward to all my foals, but I am super excited about this one as this will be my first Seves foal out of a Seves mare!

My beautiful and forever faithful girl, Monalaw Sidan has also been scanned in foal to Eyarth Braveheart (due 6th April 2020). This foal is a full sibling of Seves First Time For Everything.

Last but not least, Belgravia Countess Callista was scanned in foal to Hopgarden Hanky Panky (due 24th April 2020)

Just the Dartmoor mares and my TB mare, Misty Sails, to scan in the next couple of weeks. Fingers crossed for a full house!

On the 12th May, we welcomed the 3rd foal of the year, and the 2nd sired by Shilstone Rocks Hailstone.

A c**t out of Shilstone Rocks Country Eclipse.

He will be available for sale, deposit secures until weaning.

He has a fabulous character and tremendous presence already! He is pictured at 11days old.

I went to visit Shilstone Rocks Hailstone today, who is progressing well under saddle now. It finally seems to be falling into place, and he found a 3rd gear this week! Emily Alice Stobbart is doing a cracking job with him!

After work time, it was then play time with his buddy Figgy!

There is 1 nomination left to Hailstone for this season!

He has a very easy going, trainable temperament, and has taken to ridden work, like a duck to water. We hope he will follow in his relatives footsteps in the future.

His first foals are due in May, and are eagerly awaited!.

He covers in hand, naturally and is the perfect gentleman.

I have just received a video of Seves Maythefourthbewithyou, who left us in July. She has progressed really well under saddle, and has quite a pop on her!

She is leaving Grace this weekend, for a life in Ireland, to be produced by a young showjumper. Well done to Grace who has done a super job with her and best of luck to Chewy and her new owner in Ireland.

Seves What Time Do You Call This looks to be settling in well in his new home.

Louise Johnson has cared for him superbly for the last 3 years, which has stood him in good stead for his future with Rosie Taylor @ Tiny Taylor Pony Services.

YoYo is by our ex stallion Moonstruck Sea Serpent who is out of one of our senior broodmares, Doolittle Poppycock. YoYo is out of our other senior broodmare, Shilstone Rocks Country Eclipse.

YoYo was reserve restricted champion at the recent Northern Dartmoor Pony Show. He was handled by Sophie in the championship, and it was a very proud moment as 3 out of 4 Ponies in the championship, descended from Country Eclipse. There was YoYo, YoYo’s yearling daughter and Country Eclipse’s yearling daughter.

We wish Rosie the best of luck with YoYo and look forward to watching him progress.

Mercury is available for sale due to no longer having any sec B mares for him, and due to being overstocked.

He is good to do in all ways. He is a perfect gentleman, and would be an ideal first stallion.

He will cover in hand (in just a headcollar) or run out with mares. He has previously been used as a teaser stallion too, where his manners were impeccable. He is still fertile, and has covered this year.

He is happiest when out in the field, but he will stable absolutely fine if needed. I do seek a home for him where he can have at least daily turnout.

Mercury is also broken to ride, and is the ultimate confidence giver, and is well schooled. He hasn’t been ridden for approx 3years, so he would need bringing back into work.

He is a brilliant contender for the veteran showing series.

Youngstock by him can be seen.

Poppycock and Country Eclipse are residents at Seves. We hope to have foals from both mares next year, by Shilstone Rocks Hailstone. The foals will potentially be available for sale.

On Thursday 15th March (3 days early) Sid finally foaled a beautiful bay c**t by Eyarth Braveheart.

He's proving to be a character; confident and friendly.....

He's yet to be named but at the moment does whinny when called 'cheeky monkey' lol
