Abi's Hotel for Cats - Boarding Cattery Fully Licenced and Insured Boarding Cattery in Kirton, Lincolnshire. We are fully licenced and insured. We are not a people hotel.

That our cattery is spotless, and smell free and built to the highest possible specification goes without saying. Obviously it is absolutely vital that we exceed licence conditions in every detail from our fully equipped, onsite, purpose built, cat dedicated kitchen and laundry to our Portuguese white porcelain tiled floor. Indeed, nothing less could provide the secure, clean, comfortable, and saf

e environment that you quite rightly expect for the beloved and highly important member of your family who you are placing in our care and trusting us to look after. However by far the most important thing here, and what sets us clearly apart from anywhere else nearby is that we adore each and every one of our very important guests who have stayed in our hotel. We really do love your cats as much as you do, we think of ourselves as your cat’s extended family that they might go and stay with for a holiday. We don’t go in for gimmicky pretend people hotel paraphernalia. So you won’t find fussy chandeliers and iron filigree beds with chintz curtains and whatnot. Instead we have lovely cosy furry fleecy blankets, comfy armchairs, wall mounted radiators and fun scratchy posts and toys. We feed your cats exactly what they get at home in pretty china bowls plus extra special treats on a Sunday and we give them the best cat litter in the best cat litter trays. Of course most importantly again we also sit down with and cuddle and brush and play with and talk to your cats. Everybody has a lovely view of our pretty garden with roses and running water and hanging baskets full of brightly coloured flowers to provide them with smells and colours and sounds and interesting wavy abouty things. Through all this our now famous chickens wander freely, watched (and sometimes drooled over) by our very happy and very comfortable guests.

Gee thanks for that EE!

We have our mobile phones, of course. But without WiFi they are very patchy here.

We will do our best to call everyone back and sort out bookings. But it may take some time (and some acrobatics 😅)

Once again, please bear with us, and thanks as always for being so kind and patient and understanding.

Hopefully it's our turn to get something good from the universe now!!

Us again!
On top of everything else our computer has decided to crash out and mess up the cattery software!🤦‍♀️
Luckily we had it backed up until the 3rd of September on a laptop (which is not allowed on the Internet!)

Ray is still out of action and we have now lost any bookings taken since the 3rd of September.

We are trying to sort out the missing bookings with old messages and notes, but if you have called and booked since the 3rd September it would be really helpful if you could please send us a message or call and leave a message, so that we can catch it back up.

We are working with Microsoft to get the problem fixed ASAP.

If anyone is a software/computer expert and prepared to help please give us a shout.

Hi folks

Just to let you know Ray is in hospital. He will be fine. Not to worry. But it will take him a little while to recover fully.

We are very fortunate to have an amazing network of family and friends helping us out. But we would ask that you guys would all be kind enough to bear with us a little bit at the moment.

Obviously the cats are our priority (alongside Ray) and are pampered exactly the same way as always! But if we are a little slower to answer messages, that's because our "admin department" (Ray) is currently out of action! 😁
It would also really help us out to change the opening hours to 10am to 7pm temporarily (still by appointment of course).

I will do my best to answer any questions about the cattery ASAP, and I will update you all regarding Ray very soon.

Just a gentle reminder...

We are a family just like most of you, so we totally understand if your plans change.

But please remember that at this time of year we are very full. There are lots of cats that we have to disappoint.
If you can't make a booking we would appreciate a heads up in reasonable time, so that we can pass that space on to someone who needs it.

We are also a small business and, again, like any other family we have bills to pay.

Unfortunately we have had one customer not turn up today. They have made no contact at all, and seem now to have blocked us from contacting them after we called to check if they were OK.

Thankfully that is something that happens very rarely, but it makes us sad when it does happen because we really do try our best to be as kind and accommodating as possible.

We know most of you are lovely and appreciate us as much as we appreciate you though and we are eternally grateful to all of you

Hello from all of us here at Abi's.
We hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a fab new year.

As much as we hate having to raise prices I'm afraid we have got to the point where we have no choice. Everything else has gone up so much that raising our prices in line has become the only way we can afford to keep going.

So as of January 1st 2025, the price for one cat will be £12 per day.

However we have slightly altered our pricing structure for multiple cats from one household sharing.
So while the first cat will be £12 per day, each additional cat sharing one chalet will be £6 per day (up to and including 4 cats sharing one family chalet).
This means that multiple cats' prices stay the same or in some cases actually are slightly reduced.
All discounts still remain in place as always.
