A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead.

He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them..

After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight.

When he was standing before it he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.

When he was close enough, he called out, 'Excuse me, where are we?'

'This is Heaven, sir,' the man answered.

Would you happen to have some water?' the man asked.

Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up'.The man gestured, and the gate began to open.

'Can my friend,' gesturing toward his dog, 'come in, too?' the traveller asked.

'I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets.'

The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog.

After another long walk, and at the top of another long hill, he came to a dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence. As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book.

'Excuse me!' he called to the man. 'Do you have any water?'

'Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there, come on in..'

'How about my friend here?' the traveller gestured to the dog.

There should be a bowl by the pump.'

They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it. The traveller filled the water bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog.

When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree.

'What do you call this place?' the traveller asked.

This is Heaven,' he answered.

'Well, that's confusing,' the traveller said. 'The man down the road said that was Heaven, too.'

'Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's hell.'

'Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?'

'No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind.'

Welcome to the Pet Stop Drive through.

From now on everybody must come to this window. You can collect from here and order from here. If you need to come in the shop to choose item you will still be able to but you must initially come to the window.

- Please come to the window and order your items if you know exactly what you want. We will get your items ready, you then need to come to the normal door which we will open for you to pay. Our card machine is now on a long stick so we will poke it at you. If you don't know exactly what you want you will allow you in the shop (see below)

- You can ring us, message us or email us your orders. These can be collected from the window or we will bring them to your car. Just ring us when you are outside.

WE ARE DELIVERING TO BOURNE, STAMFORD. THE DEEPINGS AND SURROUNDING AREAS FOR FREE.
This is putting a lot of extra strain on us so if you can drive and wait outside that will help us but if you can't then we will deliver to you.

- THE SHOP IS STILL OPEN.

If you wish to browse the shop and choose items then of course you can.
However, we are limiting to 4 PEOPLE in the shop at anytime. If you can come alone then please do, this will allow more people through the shop quicker.
The door will be locked and we will be enforcing this.

I am trying to do this in the most moral way possible. We still need to be here but we also have a duty of care to ourselves and to you guys. We cannot continue to trade as normal while this is happening, just because we can open does not mean it should be 'business as usual'.
We appreciate your patience while these changes are in force.

Everyone is welcome, if you don't shop here normally you are most welcome. We just want to help. We might not have exactly what you want but we will have something to keep you going.

Deliveries are arriving everyday and as long as everybody buys just what they need then we have enough to go around.

My last customers for a while, these two adorable little waggy tail woofers were an absolute delight to look after this weekend while there mummy had family business to attend, such balls of happiness, a perfect end to a crappy week.

Well, today I recieved this lovely card from my two woofers ❤❤
which was pretty lovely and very appreciated being as I couldn't see my Daughter 🙈

NOTE from today, I am afraid I will only help customers in absolute emergencies until these extraordinary events settle down.
I am always here for advice and will never let you down or see you in a pickle.

Please don't worry or panic about running out of pet food. We have a full shop, full stock room and excess.

We have dramatically increased our stock levels and are working our little butt's off to help as many people as we can.

Our freezers are full and our vehicles are ready to deliver.

We will keep everyone going for as long as we can. We are limiting on certain items but we have enough to go around ❤️

We have had a variety of walks, fun and games recently, Winsty is so good, he just goes with the flow lapping it all up.
Here looking daper as always on our walk, posing in his latest coat and playing some games, he is such a friendly happy boy loved by all!
