Successful raced and retired sound as a 10yo
Very low mileage since, just been used for hacking and occasionally nannying babies too and from the gallops. Dipped his toe into schooling and done two dressage tests. Done a couple of fun rides. Safe and easy to do. Good to clip, shoe, catch, bath, hack etc

Looking for freelance groom to do temporary work for the next few weeks whilst we our groom is recovering from a fall and the other off with covid. Easy going private friendly yard. Riding hunters if desired but not essential just need someone to be able to do basic yard duties. Ideally Sundays to be covered, all other days and hours are flexible.

🐴🐴 Looking for a someone to join our team full time🐴🐴

Due to the yard expanding, we are looking for another full time groom to work alongside our other two current grooms. The candidate must be reliable, happy to ride fit hunters and handle different types of horses. Must be able to work as part of a team and also individually. Must be able to work weekends.

Previous experience with Hunters and/or mares and foals is a bonus but not essential.

Jobs include general yard duties, riding and leading fit hunters, clipping, plaiting, pulling manes and tails, handling mares and foals, assisting with vet and farrier visitis, turning out hunters and tack to a high standard.

Hours vary throughout the year depending on hunting and foaling season.

We are a friendly and easy going yard.

No accommodation. Competitive wage.
