⭐️VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE⭐️

It is now the Summer Holidays! If you or someone you know is looking for something unique and fun to do during this break, or even afterwards, we offer volunteering!

We are looking for some eager volunteers to help at our reptile store in Bracknell during the holidays!

Volunteering for us includes the care and welfare of all the animals in our store, ranging from terrestrial snakes all the way to arboreal geckos, and the upkeep of the store itself.

This will be the cleaning of water bowls and adding fresh water, doing salad feeds and bug feeds, head count, glass cleans, vivarium cleans, aquatic feed/cleans, hoovering, dusting etc.

We offer a trial day for volunteering, so if you fancy having a go you’re more than welcome to get in contact with us and we can organise a day for you to come in, receive some training, and see if you like it!

We will have a volunteer form for you to fill out with you details on your first trial day.

🐍HOGNOSE SNAKES🐍

These beautiful babies are now for sale!
Hognose snakes are known for their cute little shovel noses that help them dig through substrate and bury themselves!

They are a ‘rear-fanged’ species so if they were to ever get a nice chew on you, it would sting a little bit but will calm down quite fast, unless you have a specific allergy!

These babies can be sassy and love to hiss and and make their heads as flat as they can, this is to make them seem more intimidating but to us, it just makes them look adorably scary!

They thrive well in 2/3fts as they are a smaller species of snake, and we have many options of setups and prebuilds available in store.

🦎BABY YELLOW ACKIES🦎

Eggs have been hatching like crazy at The Jungle! Our most recent hatchlings are these gorgeous Yellow Ackie Monitor lizards!

These guys are so full of life and will be available when they have grown up a little bit more so will be around the end of August!

As babies they are quite energetic and full of speed but will get used to handling rather quick. They are very intelligent animals and get around 2ft in size.

🦎REHOME LEOPARD GECKO🦎

This little cutie hasn’t had the best time recently, and is now looking for his forever home. He has got a pinched eyelid, a few lumps on his back from how his skin has healed and a regen tail.

Now unfortunately we don’t know what caused these issues however we would like him to go to a lovely new home where nothing like this can happen to him again.

He has shown some nervousness in regards to handling so would need to go to a home that can help rehabilitate him, as he often panics when being handled.

He has gained the name Baymax here in our care and is a good eater!

We are asking for a £25 rehoming fee, so please call a member of staff or pop in to our store if you are interested.

🦎CRESTED GECKOS🦎

Here at The Jungle, we have many different cresties available! Ranging from Harlequins to Super Dalmatians!

These guys are a New Caledonian species of gecko known for their great jumping abilities and ‘sticky’ feet that allows them to jump from tree to tree 🌳

They are an amazing beginner reptile and thrive in bioactive environments in a glass terrarium, recommended size being a 45cm x 45cm x 60cm (LxDxH)

We have some unique royal pythons available in store at Moss End! Please feel free to ring our store for any enquires you may have!

Handling: Royal pythons are a very relaxed and docile beginner snake, all of our royals are great with handling. They work great with younger children looking for their first reptile!

Enclosure Requirements:
We recommend approximately a 4ft/4x2 enclosure for adult royals depending on the s*x, however these royals can go in our baby royal kit - please ask in store!
They are available to purchase from our website or from our Moss End Store. We have vivariums and electrics also available.
