Mata adores Lady and he watched lovingly while she delivered Nacho and has been infatuated ever since. He neighs every evening for them to come in and doesn’t relax until their back in the box next to him. I’m fairly sure he’s convinced he’s the father so we let him and now he’s able to graze lovingly with his little fam - even if I keep a fence in between them!

Nacho - the worlds biggest timewaster! Loves a bum scratch and will cuddle you all day long! Ramiro Z/ Catherston Gold Storm mare and Caunton Manor Stud Comfort! While a little surprised hes a ginge I think he’s beyond beautiful and I love the bling!

I don’t know any yard which hasn’t haemorrhaged money on hay this winter: with the quality through the floor we’ve bought in small bales (💸💸💸) and sourced some fab haylage. Shopping around and accepting times are expensive has paid off enormously. They all look great. This 24yr old Kudy and 20yr old Winnie watching the foals have a leg stretch and probably wishing they were babies again! 🤣🤣

A positive uplate on Lady’s pregnancy this week. She’s cooking nicely and everything looked good at her 42 day scan.

I’m really pleased thay Lady (Ramiro Z out a Catherston Gold Storm mare) has scanned in foal to Caunton Manor Stud Stallion Comfort this morning! What an exciting baby this one’s going to be!
We’re in the safe hands of Equibreed UK Ltd now who have been fantastic! 🙌🏻

With my workload through the roof I haven’t done as much as I’d have hoped with Queenie this summer. I decided to take the pressure off and just hack her. We’ve really bonded and she’s super bold and brave, hacking happily on her own. Despite being the only person to have ever sat on her I’m also chuffed to bits with how she’s turning out. Why rush a good horse hey!

17.5 M-M/W Prestige jump saddle black. This has knee blocks which can come off (Velcro) to suit the rider. It’s such a lovely saddle and you feel super secure in it. I bought it and used it for a couple of years then my horse was injured and off games so it’s sat barely used for years. Apart from a little scuff on the cantle its otherwise immaculate. Horse is now permanently retired so time to sell.. £900 Ono

DeNiro / Animo coming back into work nicely after too much time off! We’re working on getting him as strong as possible before he’s asked to jump fences again! Please excuse my slightly defensive riding and short stirrups but he spent the first 20 minutes bouncing and bucking because I’d left the poles out.. despite it all I feel like we’re bonding again so roll on 2022.. maybe Ted will start sleeping by then and I can think about some outings!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🥱😴
