So today marks the first day of spring 🌱

And while I feel this maybe a little wrong - I (well Raven 🙈) found this little fella who has decided to pop out of his winter nest and take a wander round our garden 🥰 so it must be so...

10 Facts about these Cute Spikey Mammals

🦔 They are found in most places around the UK and are quite sociable little creatures

🦔 They are nightowls and do not like the heat

🦔 They Hibernate during the winter months, between November till March time

🦔 They are Lactose intolerant

🦔 They are Carnivores

🦔 They have poor eyesight but an amazing sense of smell

🦔 They are great little athletes - They can run, climb and swim

🦔 They are speedy little creatures

🦔 They can weigh as much as a pineapple and can be as long as a 30cm ruler!

🦔 A sad, but true fact, They are on a serious decline.

I was off to walk this handsome fella yesterday and as he is due to stay with us in April I took Raven with me so they could meet and have park sniffs together 🤗

He was a little apprehensive to start - as she's a little bigger than him but it wasn't long before he started puppy bouncing all over the place 🤣

He's coming over on Sunday with his hoomans to sniff out where he'll be staying 🥰

🐾🐶 Crufts 🐶🐾

As a dog business where else would I be this weekend.

It was a pawsome day with beautiful pups everywhere - I was most definitely in dog heaven.

Has anyone been before? What was your best bit?

Mine today was watching a young girl show her equally as young German shepherd who obviously felt a little out of sorts but the handler was amazing - although not her mum, I was very proud of how she handled herself & dog.

First day of half term and we are officially a full house 🐕

After having 2 of our girls being dropped off yesterday we had a final little girly been dropped off this afternoon.

But in-between all the drop offs we went over to these cuties to spend some time with them to break up their day 🥰

This pic has circulated Facebook all week and I just had to share it too... Because what a week! Actually the last couple of weeks. It's been wet to say the least 🤣💦

The dogs (most of them 😕) have absolutely had they're best time in the wet & mud 🤣
when we've been out for walkies - it's definitely been fun.

So much so I've not even had the chance to show you all what we've been up to this week.
But I will do a little catch up as we've had some great meet & greets, new little girl that started with us and lots of fun walks & puppy visits.

This weekend we had a couple of our regulars come and join us for their half term stay with some more joining us next week 🥰

Hello weekend - and Hello better weather ☺️

It may not be all sunshine and rainbows but I think we have less rain this weekend - which is great as I've got a whole weekend of meet & greets so less soggy doggys 🤣

Little catch up from the last couple of weeks - we've had a couple of pups in for a short night time stay - with one of our regulars staying with us next weekend... A little post about our own dogs.... Although we are a 'big dog' family (even though our Shep's are quite small for their breed) we have lots of small dogs come and stay with us - but equally we have a few that decline staying with us, either because of the breed of dog we have or their not keen on the big dog/small dog ratio....
