Holiday Notice‼️

Just to let everyone know there will be no walks week commencing 26th August. We are off to Spain🛫

I will also send a message to all owners and doggos that this will affect☀️⛅️

Eeek another hot one this week!

Walks will be shortened or earlier where necessary.
Monday - Wednesday I don’t think I’ll be able to go out on walks past 11/11:30am so anyone that this affects I will send a message over soon!

If anyone knows they will be home on these days and wants to cancel for safety reasons, that is absolutely fine just let me know.
There is no cancellation fee when it is due to weather as I would much rather your doggos be safe🐾💛

Got a holiday coming up?

I can do pop in visits for any animals - cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, fish etc.

I’ll clean out tanks and cages, feed them, give them fuss and make sure they are safe whilst you are away!🐱🐇🐹🐍

It’s that time of year again - let’s talk about the SUN☀️

With the weather starting to get hotter, I’d like to talk about what will happen to your dog walks when it’s hot and sunny!

☀️First of all, for safety reasons I won’t walk dogs in any temperatures above 23 degrees.

☀️I will NOT walk brachycephalic (flat faced) breeds in anything above 20 degrees. And anything between 17-20 degrees will be at my / your discretion - depending on the areas we can go to, how shady these are, and the time of day we can get out walking.

☀️For all dogs, if possible, all walks will be in shaded, wooded areas with access to play in water. And I will make sure to take plenty of drinking water, and encourage slower walks.

☀️If I deem it to be too hot when we are out or the dogs seem to be struggling, I will reduce walks as I see fit (any changes to length of walks will be reflected in payments).

☀️In the instance that it is too hot for walks to take place, I will offer house visits instead - I will let the dog out to the garden for the toilet and then play games / enrichment inside to tire them out and give them attention but keep them safe.

*If you are uncomfortable with any of the above, if you don’t want your dog walking even in these temperatures or you would like all walks reduced to 30mins etc. throughout the heatwave please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you!*

We always try to encourage her in but she never goes further than her lower legs.
She swam through (I think to help Lincoln😆)🐾❤️

Over the holidays we’ve been exploring with Nala🐾
The soaking wet tracksuit bottoms are because Hunter lost a toy in the deep water so obviously I had to go in to try and find it😂😂

Quick insight to what we do on a garden visit - on this visit I practiced some focus and engagement.

Using treats to get Willow to follow me and stay by my side. Also throwing treats out so she can use her nose to sniff, this is a really good source of enrichment for dogs and helps get their brains working🐾🦴

Just wanted to pop a post on to say a BIG Thankyou to everyone for yesterday.

My car broke down with 4 dogs in (including Nala)🤦🏼‍♀️

Thankyou to those that collected their dogs from me, that were understanding about cancellations and those that were understanding about remaining walks running behind!

The car is fixed and now back to work as normal🤞🏼🚗
