We trialled moving Happy Hound & Home to the Arctic Circle recently & despite LOVVVVING the hard working huskies, sledging, -40c temps 🥶 & the beautiful nature Finland has to offer we’ve decided not to as we just love our UK clients too much! 😉
Asked to have a kitchen clean out & found her at the back of the freezer sweeping out the peas….
Only 4 days together but we’ve rambled around with this slightly blind, gorgeous Tibetan terrier lots & given him all the sniffs n schnoootles the Weald has to offer. Thanks for being guardian to our little Essex temple too fella.
Despite turning up for a weeks boarding in his Dexys Midnight Runners official fan club outfit, we’ve been told this young 9 year old Tibetan Terrier is actually a HUGE Prince fan & likes nothing better than a howl along to “When doves cry”
We hope to capture this impressive talent on film but for now all we’ve witnessed is a hatred for the postman & a keen interest in carrots - coincidentally things Prince himself was also well known for….

Reflecting on another year of Happy Hound & Home. This time last year we were in snowy Goring looking after this beautiful property in the woods & caring for the fabulous, bowl carrying DJ.
We had a visiting Robin & spent hours with DJ walking in the huge woodlands & up along the chiltern hills. Just beautiful.
We’re lucky enough to have this gorgeous schnoootah back boarding with us this week & the common has been stunning to roam about in with her.

Had help me de-ice the car (that CD case is a bonza scraper lads) & whacky raced it to Bromley where this onsie clad beaut was in need of a quiet routine & cosy care following a minor leg injury.

A long weekend with this absolute cracker. Exploring local beaches, creating paw prints in the sand & watching the surfers n swimmers brave enough to battle through Storm Babets salad offering 🌊🥬🐾🐾🐾🐾
An absolute cracker of a week pet sitting Jarvis the cockerel & his bantam brood, the gorgeous - if somewhat elusive - window cat AND getting to know the sh*tzu breed & falling wildly in love with these three. So much character & joy in tiny bundles. An absolute delight 🐾🐾✨
Whilst on a short break we had the opportunity to meander around Osborne house, the once residence of Queen Victoria & her family…& judging by the artwork & sculptures I reckon she’d have been keen to book Happy Hound & Home to look after this lot 😂
Had a pawsome time looking after the gorgeous Master Winston in Brixton & participating in the myattsfieldspark dog show was a lovely bonus - He even got to meet the superb gentleman Levi Roots 💖🐾🐾
We beat the heat with icy dog bowl splosh 🧊& walked the streets early & late- in between we stretched out by the fan. Bum scrumbles & treats administered as requested & we look forward to seeing him again Feb 2024 🇯🇲🐕✨
