Why should I microchip my pet?
Cats and dogs must be microchipped - The law recently changed for cats, they must be chipped by June 2024 and the law for dogs came in April 2016.

Once your pet is microchipped you will be given an aftercare sheet to take away. You must then register your pet onto the PetScanner Database to ensure that the pet is registered to you.

Being mobile means that the animals can be microchipped in a familiar space which can reduce anxiety and stress.

Why should I microchip my pet?
Cats and dogs must be microchipped - The law recently changed for cats, they must be chipped by 10th June 2024 and the law for dogs came in 6th April 2016. You could be fined up to £500 if they are not chipped.

Once your pet is microchipped you will be given an aftercare sheet to take away. You must then register your pet onto the PetScanner Database to ensure that the pet is registered to you.

Prices:
£15.00 for one single pet
£12.00 each for two - three pets
£10.00 for more than three pets

What is a microchip?
A microchip is about the size of a grain of rice, it is a radio-frequency identification transponder that carries a unique identification number. It is infected under the skin between the shoulder blades.

Microchipping -

I have now finished the theory side of my course and will shortly be moving on to the practical side of it.

Those that are not aware, I am studying a microchipping course as I would love to add this service to my business. When I pass the course I will be a certified pet implanter (meaning I can chip Dogs, Cats, Rabbits and Ferrets)

This is fully UK DEFRA approved.

When I book the practical side of the course, I will have a professional implanter come out to me to teach me and qualify me.

I now need YOUR help! 🤞🏼
I am looking for THREE unchipped pets. One MUST be a dog.

Please note that I will be supervised the WHOLE time.
If I have any worries or concerns the professional will be there to help and advise me.

The animals MUST be in good health for me to implant them as I cannot risk passing on any illnesses / infections or diseases.

I will be doing this from my home address in Bridgwater so you must be able to travel to me.

Microchipping -

At the end of the month I am planning to hopefully start a microchipping course.
This is fully UK DEFRA approved.
There is a practical and theory side to the course.
If I pass the course I will get on-going support from the company that I am going through but more importantly I will be a qualified implanter and I will receive a certificate for it too.

Once I have done the theory side of it in my own time (in the evenings after grooming all your doggies in the day), I will have a professional implanter come out to me for the practical side of the course.

This is when I need YOUR help! 🤞🏼

I will be looking for THREE unchipped pets. One MUST be a dog.

The professional implanter will show me how it’s all done on ONE of the pets and then I will be chipping the second two! I would prefer to have one cat and one dog for my part in the course to learn on both. I’m not too fussed what animal the implanter has this can be either or.

If I have any worries or concerns the professional will be there to help and advise me.
The animals MUST be in good health for me to implant them as I cannot risk passing on any illnesses.

Bertie 😍

This was a big change for Bertie’s Mum because we all loved his beautiful long coat but with this horrible weather and all the mud it was getting too dirty and too knotty so she chose to have it all off for easier maintenance! 🥰

Bertie is one of 6 Clumber spaniels!! I absolutely love this breed, they have such a soft and loving nature!

I think he looks adorable with his new look! ❤️
