Lovely 2 weeks spent with Arthur and Hugo ☺️

Always good fun staying with this crazy one! He may have his quirky collie ways but he’s such a lovely boy! We spent lots of time having cuddles, exploring new places and his favourite thing of all- chasing his ball🎾 His evening zoomies with his toys are hilarious! I do think he’s part cat as he loves chilling on the top of the sofa 😂 Hugo is also the friendliest cat in the world and loves nothing than cuddling up in the bed, kneading bread on my lap and purring all night long!

Introducing Twyla 🤩

Twyla is a gorgeous GSD who I’ve known for a little while, so it’s been lovely to have her join a weekly walk! She’s exuberant and full of life, always having a fun time on groups! She has her quirky ways but I’ve found her a dream to take out, so affectionate, amazing recall and just the happiest girl 🥰 Also having the longest tongue I’ve known 😂

Some more info on my group walks 🎉

🐾How do they work?
After meeting you and your dog at an initial meet and greet, I will take your dog out solo first to gauge how they are with coming out with me. I will look also at their recall and how they interact with dogs to get a feel for what kind of group they’d enjoy. I can then place them on the appropriate group, where I’ll collect all dogs from their homes and drive to a suitable location. The walks last 45-60mins. They enjoy lots of exploring, playing and fun interactions. Everyone will then be dropped home, meaning your dog will be out the house for 1-2.5hrs.

🐾What are the benefits?
Group walks give your dog a chance to interact with others whilst out and about, in a safe environment. It’s a great way for dogs to have a social outlet in the presence of a professional. I promote good interactions and manage play to keep everyone happy. I provide enriching walks with lots of sniffing and exploring, as well keeping up good recall practise. Your dogs will be dropped home feeling content and tired 👌🏼

🐾Who are group walks for?
These are offered for dog-social dogs, who enjoy the company of others. Whether they enjoy pootling along, exploring and sniffing to the real party starters who love a good chase or wrestle, I tailor each group to the dog’s individual needs, pairing them up with the perfect partners.

🐾How do I walk a group safely?
Dogs are expected to have a good level of recall to be off lead. For those who don’t, I use a long line for a quick pick up when needed or for those who aren’t quite trusted to be dropped yet, will be held on a longline with only 1 held per group. I walk at locations that I’ve checked beforehand, with lots of space to avoid other people. I give my attention fully to the dogs I’m walking and am always watching their behaviours. Group management and safety is a priority for me and I’ve got tonnes of experience to recognise and react to all different scenarios.

Welcome Lexi 😍

Ive been really enjoying getting to know Lexi these past few weeks! Her confidence grew after walk 1 and she quickly showed me her fun goofy side! She’s such a loving girl, who has the best time out on her walks, enjoying her crazy zoomies 🤪 She recently joined a group walk like she’s always been there! She is the 10/10 goodest girl 🫶🏼

Meet new boy Chase 🤩

Chase is a young lurcher, who is full of beans but such a friendly boy who just loves life!
He’s been on some solos with me to work on recall and testing his social skills, before joining groups. I’m very pleased to say he’s been smashing these and after finding some well matched dogs whilst out, with a little management he can greet and play really nicely! It’s been so lovely to see him wrestling and zooming around 🥹
Chase can get mouthy when excited or feeling overwhelmed, so I’ve been redirecting with a toy, which he absolutely loves! I leave it accessible on my bumbag, where he now asks to use the toy instead of my arm when he needs and the mouthing has been greatly reduced! 🤩
Can’t wait to introduce him to some of the group dogs ☺️

Little Len joins weekly groups and has so much fun! As he’s still in his adolescence, at times he needs help managing his arousal in play. He’s been great at taking time to chill and interact more with the environment. He’s friends with everyone but especially loves Flo to chase 😆

He may be small, but his personality is the biggest 💖

Puppy sitting for Stanley (and the whole crew😂)

Visits are a great way to break up dogs alone time with some company, including toileting, play and endless cuddles if wanted 💖

Puppy visits will be tailored to each dog and will also include some basic training, like practising commands (sit, down, paw, stay, recall etc), toilet training, desensitisation work (harness training, touch, car travel) and once old enough, socialisation, simply experiencing the outside world!

A minute snippet of Flo & Chase’s walk today 🫶🏼 So proud of Chase and how well he’s doing whilst out with me (and his owners!) He joined his first mini group today with no other than my main girl Flo! Safe to say they hit off! Flo’s favourite thing is to be chased and Chase loves chasing 😂 Really well matched play and after some time, they were happy to swap roles too. They had lots of chill time in between and sniffing the environment to keep their arousal lowered in between, which also meant they were able engage with me throughout! Chase recalled so well from start to finish, as well as ignoring distractions around us!! Definitely took me by surprise when he chose to sprint further back to me instead of a playful dog near him, such good progress! We won’t mention the time he fell in the pond 🤣 A shout out to Flo for being such a well rounded role model! She’s so confident and happy with all my group dogs, she really tailors herself to meet their temperaments 🥹
