Trimming your dog's nails is crucial! When nails become overly long, they can cause discomfort, pain, or even deformity in the paw. This makes nail trimming challenging for your dog to endure. To avoid this, please arrange nail trimming appointments every 3-4 weeks.

Before each grooming appointment, please ensure that your dog has been taken out for a toilet break so they can relieve themselves, preventing any accidents in the shop!

Please don't bring your four-legged friend to the groomer if they are infected by fleas, ticks or other parasites, as it can potentially infect other dogs, causing issues for us and other responsible pet owners who take precautions to protect their beloved pets.

If your dog's coat is very tangled or matted, it's worth considering to get it ‘shaved’ (trimmed very short). Choosing a practical coat is more sustainable and comfortable for your dog.

Look after them at home and take them to the groomer regularly. I’m not saying this to talk you out of your money. It’s what’s the best for your four-legged friend(s) and this will make our work much easier, too.💓(Source and image: Alexa Kutyakozmetika)

You know how they say dogs are man's best friend? Well, I think I took that a bit too literally— I love dogs more than I love dealing with people! 😃

Becoming a dog groomer seems like a natural fit. As a sculptor, I'm excited to bring my artistic touch to shaping those fluffy coats.

Plus, dogs are like therapy on four legs; just stroking and hugging them puts the biggest grin on my face.

Balancing what the client wants, what's actually feasible, and what the dog prefers is an art form in its own right, and I'm ready for the challenge! 😃

Though it’s quite a basic table I’m still very excited about it. I bought extra straps as they look much safer and stronger. Finally I can hand-strip my own dog properly (if she lets me). 😃🐕

This little girl was soooo fluffy. I did not do the head, I’m not there just yet.

I only helped with bathing, drying, trimming the pads, clipping the nails and sc******ng some part of her body. Oh and creating those tube legs. It was so much fun. 🤗🐕

A few days ago I had the chance to hand-strip the sweetest in the world.

This was the first time ever that I’ve done this task (officially) and I must say, I absolutely loved it.

These little brown dogs are my favourites and I realise how much I love hand-stripping them. They try everything in their power to stop you doing it but when you have one at home you know how to handle them. 😃🐕❤️

(for privacy reasons I can only add an illustration and not the original photo of any dogs that I was working on in the studio where I study. Actually I started to really like the illustrations 😃).

This little one was a real acrobat and jumped out of all restrains. It was a real challenge to cut his nails or do anything with his feet. Eventually we managed. Hugging him was so good though. He’s a real sweetie. ❤️
