I think private rented property landlords should start to welcome pets. It's awful that people are having to give up their beloved pets. So heartbreaking 💔

16-year-old Kitty is just one of the many pets that are brought to us because owners are told that they can't have pets in rented properties. 💔 It's a heartbreaking decision and the reason we continue working with the housing sector to push them to embrace a more pet-friendly approach, in the hope that they see the important part pets play in people's lives.

Two-year-old cat Carrot Cake returned home unable to walk after a mystery accident left her in extreme pain with multiple wounds and a broken leg. 😿 She required surgery to save her leg, but a potential bill of thousands of pounds left the family in turmoil.

This is Marley with her puppies in 2021, All black and all boys. I was there throughout her labour and helped deliver the 8 puppies. For the next 3 months i helped to take care of them, i sat in the puppy room singing to them and telling them stories when they were very noisy, much to the delight and amusement of the new owners, we set up a camera feed to them so they could watch the progress of their puppy. They all have wonderful new owners whom i'm still in touch with and receive pictures from when they left us to present day.
