Well done to all Dartmoor Dazzlers at September’s Junior Equestrian Club today 🤩

A fun filled day of riding lessons, grooming, putting the bridle together practice & learning all things arenas as part of this month’s Pony Stars awards 😊

Everybody achieved their Junior Jockey Arena Awareness & Riding Right Awards learning about the letters around the two different sized Dressage arenas, different school movements & changes of rein. We also discussed the rules of riding in the arena with others.

Well Done to Pippa, Eliza & Liv achieving their Junior Jockey cloth badge this month for completing all awards in the Junior Jockey section of their My Challenge Book 👏🏻

Gobo & Fraggle the goats came down to the stables to meet everybody & enjoyed their walks 🐐❤️

Well Done to the Green Team who were this month’s ever popular team pony games winners 💚

Looking forward to October’s meet already, hope to see you there 😊

Adult Equestrian Club 2024 -

We had a great afternoon of riding & stable management. In theory & practical sessions we covered grooming, tacking up, untacking, tack & cleaning & parts of the horse. 🐴

September's BHS Mini Equestrian Club -

We will working towards the Junior Jockey badge, this badge is all about Riding, what equipment you need to wear to stay safe whilst riding. It also looks at riding skills which include riding & using the reins correctly as well as how to get on and off in a safe manner. 🐴
