What a lovely week of exploring with Zac, Bonnie, Norbert, Daisy, Whylie, Penny, Poppy, Bayard, little Poppy, Bailey, Dolly, Belle, little Bonnie, Max and Otis & Bosun 🐾

We’ve been to woods, fields, rivers/streams for swimming and explored lots of new footpaths which has been really exciting 🤩

I don’t often post about the equine services side of things, this is mainly because I am too busy running around in the rain or on the ice 😂 but I’m lucky enough to freelance Monday-Friday mornings at a lovely private yard close to home & I also work with a couple of horses where I keep Sophie. I cover yards on an adhoc basis or for holiday cover too. I’ve got some beautiful horses that I work with daily and I really am so lucky to fit this in alongside my walks.

This means I am out at work from 7am until about 4pm, then I go off to ride Sophie, so if you don’t hear from me, I promise I’m not being rude or unresponsive, I’m just out in the elements for hours and sometimes don’t have a spare 5 minutes to go on my phone. Luckily I do wear an Apple Watch so I do always see WhatsApps come through, so I don’t actually miss a thing! Don’t panic if you don’t hear from me straight away, I’m always here and read the messages as soon as they come in ☺️🐴🐶🐾

Can’t believe it’s New Years Eve already! I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and a bit of a break. I can’t lie, I’m so excited to get back to work, I’ve got some new walking boots which I can’t wait to try 😂🐾

2024 over and out! That’s me all done for Christmas 🎄🎅🏼 and to top off the day, my car is home from the garage 🥳🥳🥳

What a fabulous time I have had this year, I have learnt so much and been on so many fun adventures with a variety of lovely doggies. Thank you for a year of trust, support and friendship, I really am so lucky 🐾🥰

I can’t wait for more fun in 2025! I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and New Year and gets spoilt rotten 🥳🍾🥂

Christmas Eve Eve 🎄🎅🏼 so grateful to Joel for finishing work early & taking me to work this afternoon! I got to see some of my lovely doggies which made me smile. Thankfully Joel is also driving me around tomorrow so I can get some Christmas Eve walks in and deliver presents 🥳🎄🎅🏼🐾

I also want to say a massive thank you for all of the lovely gifts I’ve received this week. I’ve never felt so appreciated & I’m so bloody grateful. You all know me far too well, chocolates, hats & headbands 😆👏🏻 LOVE IT! Thank you so much, I’m so lucky to have such lovely friends in this business & of course, such lovely dogs to spend my days with ❤️🥰

Lots of fun last week with everyone! As we are getting further into winter, we are facing lots of mud and in Norbert’s case, lots of 💩 to roll in 😂 as you may have noticed, I sort of specialise if you like, in off lead, off road adventures and I don’t tend to do many road walks especially if I’m walking dogs in a group or for an hour. I appreciate no one wants a soggy muddy dog to come home to, so I will always do my best to wash and dry them. I would much rather dogs be dogs, roll around in the mud, get dirty, run through puddles and be free off lead (if recall will allow) 🐾☔️

As we are approaching the end of the year and we’ve hit our 1 year anniversary, I wanted to do an updated ‘bit about me’ and the business. We have some new clients & followers too so I thought it was time for a refresh!

I’m Jasmine, the proud owner of J&J Pet Services, I’m nearly 27 years old (yikeeees) and have been surrounded by animals my whole life and knew from a young age I wanted to work with dogs/horses when I grew up. Not quite sure if I’ve grown up yet.. but we are making that dream come true 😂 I grew up with chickens, dogs, horses and cats and since then my love for them has grown tremendously and I can’t imagine living a life without them.

I was on holiday, in Turkey, in 2023 when I decided I needed to start my own business while I had the chance. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve absolutely loved my corporate jobs and the friends I made along the way, but I’ve always been a girl who loves being outside and can’t sit still for long. Crazy what can happen in a year! I was so scared to leave a stable job and start up something new, but I am so glad I did. The business has grown incredibly from a year ago and I’ve got some really lovely clients that I work with daily.

I own a horse called Sophie, she likes to keep me on my toes and gift me big vet bills every now and then. Without her I don’t think I’d be where I am today, she’s got me out of bed when times were tough and kept me going when I really didn’t want to. Between Joel and I, we also have 2 cats, Matilda and Melon and a Springer Spaniel called Bonnie. Matilda is the sweetest little cat you’ll ever meet, where as Melon is a bit of a terror and causes me a large amount of stress every time she brings a mouse home 😂

Bonnie is my first spaniel and I can safely say I was not her biggest fan when she was a puppy. She tested my patience every day, ate my shoes, turned our garden into a mud bath and chewed our plants BUT, I can hand on heart now say she is the best little dog I’ve ever had. She’s my best friend! She comes to work with me sometimes and has the best time with all of her friends - I’m sure you’ve seen their adventures on my page.

No doubt you’ll see me around while I’m walking, I usually wear a fluffy hat or a pink headband so I’m pretty easy to spot 😂 I always wear J&J branded hoodies so please do say hello if you see me on my travels!
