Roana & Ezra. The 'Lagotto Romagnolos'

Roana and Ezra are our dogs; an ancient breed called Lagotto Romagnolo. Truffle Hunters… Roana's mother was 'Beatrice della Metaurense,' an Italian champion.

'Romina & Sophia della Metaurense', Roana and Ezra as we have called them were born in Italy in the Provincia di Pesaro e Urbino which is in Marche region. They are an ancient breed called 'Lagotto Romagnolo' and is famously used as a truffle hunter in Italy. She was part of a litter of six, her brothers and sisters have gone to New York, Canada, Australia and one has been taken by an Italian che

f to hunt for the restaurants truffles. We have brought them to the UK first and foremost a family pets but with a thought that we might one day breed from Ezra to help build and diversify the breed. We thought we would post her progress so that if one day if she has puppies we might of connected with some other people interested in the breed.
