This is so very hard to write as it has been a very difficult decision to make. As most of you are aware we had a little baby boy earlier on in the year and I was very much hoping to return to work with some help from some staff, unfortunately this didn’t work out due to circumstances out of my control. Therefore for the time being I am not able to re open Trixie Paws Home Boarding and Daycare. I am so sorry to you all as I was really looking forward to seeing your dogs again, some which I have seen out and about which has been absolutely lovely but we do very much miss them in our home. Even though our house is chaotic with Harry instead now with our four dogs too! We do hope that one day in the not too distant future we will be able to re open even if on a smaller scale, so please do check out our social pages for updates! Thank you all for your patience, kind words, support and trust over the last 5 years of running Trixie Paws as we have absolutely loved meeting you and your dogs. If you need any recommendations in the mean time please do get in touch as I have a lovely selection of local businesses who may be able to help! ☔️🐾🐶 Really sorry everyone but Winter is here which means we have put everything back in the shed for hibernation except the two benches. The rubber mats at the entrance are back too! You still have access to the toy box for ball throwers, balls and toys!

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Trixie Paws Home Boarding and Daycare.
We are looking for an individual who has a huge love and passion for dogs, hard working, reliable, trustworthy, can use their initiative, show attention to detail and be flexible. This is a full time, permanent, live in position at The Doggy Hotel based at Buckland Brewer. (This will require someone who is able to move into our on-site accommodation)
We are looking for someone who has practical experience working with animals, a keen interest in animal welfare and excellent customer care skills are all essential.
A bonus if you have any Animal Care qualifications or equivalent.
The individual will also need a full, clean driving licence.
Job Description
Checking guest dogs in and out daily.
Feeding all dogs when required.

🐾Walking and playing with all dogs.
🐶General grooming maintenance.
🐾Daily cleaning and maintenance of the Doggy Hotel and garden.

🌟Exciting News🌟
We are RE-OPENING from Monday 4th September 2023!
We are so excited to be welcoming your beautiful dogs back and we can’t wait to see you all!
There are some new changes as follows-
Unfortunately we have had to do a Price Increase:
Daycare £30 per dog per day.
Boarding £35 per dog per day.
We will be doing a daycare week from Monday 4th to Friday 8th September for all our guests to come along and see us before we start boarding just to welcome them all back and check they are still happy with us and all we offer.
We are also very excited to Welcome a wonderful new staff member to the Trixie Paws Team…… more to follow on this!
We are very much looking forward to seeing you all again 🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾

What fun and games my wonderful partner had getting this grass cut, the lawn mower did not want to play ball but eventually it did and we now have a cut field. So sorry it has taken so long and got so long but the weather did not help in us getting there any quicker. I will get the equipment out tomorrow for you all, when little man can come with me and help me as he is now getting ready for bedtime.

Hello Everyone,
Most of you know about our new addition arriving very soon but for anyone who doesn't we are expecting a baby in the next month or so. I have therefore stopped work temporarily, but you will all be pleased to know we will be back at some point.
What I recommend at the moment is to keep posted on our social media pages and your emails as I will keep you up to date with our plans. Whether you are a current or new customer and have any questions in the meantime, please email me at [email protected] and I will reply to you as soon as I can.

🤯💩🤯Well I can't quite believe I need to do a post on this and for most people I'm sure I don't need to say any more but I am absolutely fuming!
There is absolutely no need to do this you manged to pick up your dogs p**p and bag it with bags I supply at the field and then double bagged it to then put it in your car and then toss it out the window only seconds up the road. 💩🤯💩
If this ever happens again I will not be held responsible for my actions in closing the field permanently as I Do Not allow people to use the secure field to then abuse the trust I put in you all to use appropriately and follow our Rules and Regulations as you enter the field, there is no excuses for this! 🤯💩🤯

Trixie Paws is a luxurious home from home dog boarding and day care service for your loving and loyal companions in the beautiful countryside of North Devon.
Trixie Paws is Fully Insured and Licensed with Torridge District Council.
I offer a unique service where I aim to make your dogs stay as similar to their home environment as I can. If your dog needs walking individually or as a group, or would like a quieter or busy room in the house I can do so.
I ask that you bring all your dogs things, treats, food bowl, lead, toys, bed, and enough food for their stay, so a suitcase may be needed! All these things make it more familiar for your dog and helps them settle in.
A meet and greet is a must before your dog comes to stay so I can meet them but also my dogs and your dogs can meet. Also you as owners can see where your canine friend will be holidaying.
I ask that all dogs are up to date with their primary vaccinations 14 days before the arrival date. I do accept valid Titre Test certificates.
